Threat Hero Notes
1
Petal Surprise her and she won't stand a chance even with her ult.
2
  No Threat
3
Blackfeather He's squishy against your crits. Afterburn him after he uses both of his ult charges.
4
  No Threat
5
SAW A bit tougher, but you shouldn't have trouble with him. Get an Altas if WP, fountain if CP.
6
  No Threat
7
Skye She'll spam her A and B as much as she can. Afterburn won't do much. Flank her and you'll be fine.
8
Taka CP Taka is popular at this moment, and for good reason. Let him come to you, he'll most likely X-Retsu and do a spin. Don't worry though, you have the highest heath pool in the game:)
9
Krul Krul counters the big cat. Hard. Build same defense as you would SAW and have a buddy to back you.

  No Threat

Intro and Match Top

Hello VG community, it is a Beta here. I have a Glaive build that's been working for me for a while. It does good damage, has decent defense to stay in the fight, and the enemy team will have a tough time fighting your friends if you're in their way.

Warning: Below is a somewhat long paragraph on how a match should go with this build.

To start off the match, get a Swift Shooter. Once you've enough gold, get a Weapon Blade and later on a Heavy Steel with addition of a Blazing Salvo. Help out your lane when he/she needs it, and don't provoke the enemy jungle (unless you want to, I'm not your owner).
The first tier three item you should get is a Sorrowblade. After this, get the gold for a Tornado Trigger and some Sprint Boots. Once you've acquired the Tornado Trigger, build up for Bonesaw. This is for the high chance of the laner and roamer buying and Atlas/Metal Jacket to negate your damage. With the Bonesaw in your arsenal, it is now time for the critical strikes to happen a lot more.
Build a Tyrant's Monocle and your set for the match. But wait, there's more! At the low, low, cost of and arm and a leg, you'll need defense. Counter whoever is doing the most damage. I usually go for a Fountain of Renewal due to the enemy team almost always have immense CP damage and going for me to end the critical nightmare Glaive can unleash.
This build wins most matches for me (except the clearly better team or that one team that uhhh.... spam their abilities). This pretty much sums up the guide, thank you for reading this and hopefully this build will get you victories with one of the most underestimated heroes (in my opinion) in Vainglory.
