EARLY GAME ADVANTAGE
-Although Krul is pretty weak in the early game, it is my personal preference to race to the end of the enemies jungle, and to steal the last two minions. This is pretty risky sometimes, and may affect game play, but usually, it is very beneficial. In that case, it is preferable to purchase boots, so that in case you do get caught, you can (try to) run away. (Hence my advice to buy a flare to check the bush)
- Use Krul's perk to your advantage! It SIGNIFICANTLY slows the enemy, and when paired with dead man's rush, it's even more amazing. Fun fact: if aimed right, dead man's rush can be used to travel through walls. (the little ones in the jungle)
-DO NOT go into a 1 V 3 with Krul! I used to make this mistake all the time, and you will almost definitely loose, at least against skilled opponents.
-Although he can survive a beating, do not roam the jungle on a few hits of health left. I usually never re spawn for health reasons, just grab a health restoring minion!
-Try not to go into the lane until you are at a significant level, and at least have your ult unlocked.
It is important to farm as Krul! (Farming is the term referred to killing minions in the jungle to level up)
PSA: Although I've been playing this game for 1-2 years, I'm not sure if this is the best build as of now, but it is at least a good starting point. Remember, in order to have a good Krul build, you need to have at least some attack speed!
