Hi guys,i am iScruB(iCuP0XD in game).I an currently in the rank Pinaacle of awesome(SEA server).
Blackfeather CP,not commonly seen or played in high ranking matches,even wp is not often played nowadays.Currently,blacfeather is in a very strong postition and can be considered a hard or hyper carry if used correctly(especially cp).Why?Lets first take a look at his heroic perk,which makes cp bf almost identical to wp bf for the current patch.
"Blackfeather also does 10-50(+15% crystal ratio for each hearthrob stack on the target".If a opposing hero has 5 stacks of hearthrob applied, the damage cp blackfeather deal is 75%crystal ratio+50dmg per basic attack.That is a tremendous amount for a crystal carry.Think of this as the eqivelant of patch 1.16 cp vox with additional damage.Paired with an alternating current the damage output of CP bf is on par with the wp equivelant.Getting a broken myth tremendously increases the damage output of his abilities AND his basic attack(like cp vox).The main focus ability of cp bf is on point,where the damage is 240+175%crystal ratio(overdriven).This is a very important ability which will be used very frequently when using cp bf.Blackfeather on point has a range of 9,equivelant to a mage.Although the raw statistics of rhe ability is low,the crystal ratio makes up for it,with the ability doing massive damage to anybody it is aimed at,even with high shield late game.Generally,this is used to poke the enemies from a distance and the playstyle of blackfeather CP is usually like a mage or a sniper.Alas,do not play him this way,rather use him EXACTLY like wp blackfeather,being a frontline and lean towarda playing to an assasin style instead of a weapon style brawler.Crystal also makes it so feint of heart is much more viable and a shiversteel is no longer needed to stay on the target due to the addditional CP scaling for the additional mobility provided by the rose trail.Use this ability to get onto targets to get max stacks of hearthrobsinstantly instead of waiting for a low health to execute the target so that cp ratio of the basic attack kick in quickly.Lastly,do not have fear when playing him.This is especially importan for any and every assasins.
Why is he so good? Top
Now,why the f*** is crystal blackfeather so strong?one might ask.It is not even used at all,how can you justify his position?Firstly,analyse his kit.Cp blackfeather has the range of a mage,the consistency of a sniper,the tankiness of a warrior,the mobility of an assassin,and cannot be locked down by cc when used correctly.Able to dive into backlines and basically 1v1 anyone(even krul),he has EXTREMLY low counters.The consitent burst from on point and the high sustain of basic attack with hearthrob means he is a highly versatile character,able to quickly burst down targets and still having high consistency in a match or teamfight.After playing with him for a while i feel there is a lack of counter for crystal blackfeather.Counters that work against weapon blacfeather will also not work agaist weapom blackfeather too.Warriors like rona counters wp blackfeather,but not cp which can poke her to death.Playing cp also opens up room for strong outplays,able to quickly eliminate targets which are slightly out of position is a feat many other heroes does not excel at.Building eve of harvest tremendously increases his sustain and pair this up with a recent health buff bf just seems to survive a beating.One of the most versatile and capable heroes on the fold,i can confidently say he is in fact one of the best hyper/hard carries in the game.Try him out,and u might just like him
Jungle or lane,item prioritisation Top
Cp blackfeather can be quite weak early game until he gets at least a alternating current.Before this,try to not engage in a fight,which suits him better into the lane.Laning for blackfeather can increase his scaling speed and at mid game can be very powerful when a broken myth is bought.Generally if blackfeathrr is played in the lane start him out with a book of eulogies,regardless of cp or wp.Sustaining in lane is important for any carries and especially when juts starting a game as blacfeather is melee which is more vulnerable when farming in lane.Sell the book of euloges mid game if it is not required anymore.If starting in the jungle,prioritze attack speed,which tremedously increases farm speed.I do not reccomend starting out with crystal bit(although possible)as it is not as impactful and viable as starting with swift shooter.Build into alternating current and focus on broken myth and defence,as a jungler it is more importat as likely the lane will be a wp carry and if the frontline dies quiclkly the laner will be quick to fall as well.So in short,lane:focus damage,jungle:focus on both offense and defence.Blackfeather farm clear speed,generally and with practice,clears much faster than other jungle heroes and i am able to average up to 7cs per minute in the jungle even with many fights happening.Avoid invades early game but mid game(both lane and jungle),blackfeather will see a high spike increase in damage when on point is overdriven,which will put blackfeather in a stronger position than many if not all other jungle heroes.
Aftershock can be built as an alternative to eve of harvest for blackfeather.However,i do not reccomed this especially if you are being extremely aggressive in fight as eve of harvest generally heals more and if one is used to wp blackfeather,eve of harvest will feel more at home to you.Aftershocks damage van be negligible with alternating current and broken myth only needed to deal massive damage and high burst.Shatterglass or shiversteel or another defence can be built for higher damage or just the need to slow enemies with shiversteel(although to me cp bf doesnt really need one).Play confidently with him and play him with a high pacing mindset and you might see that blackfeather is actually really strong.
P.s.I have been trying this build in ranked for about a month and it seems that SEMC might have overbuffed cp blackfeather a bit.
