They should really change the Type of hero of Blackfeather to a warrior
Most people build Serphant mask and Breaking Point and those items are for sustain

Every Assassin is labelled as an Assassin based on their mobility, not their damage or items. For the longest time, Koshka was Aftershock, Broken Myth and 3 defence, but they still labelled her as an assassin as well. If you went by builds, the only real assassin the game would be Ringo!
And maybe Idris, depends on how you play him.

I agree assassin in Vainglory are more like 75%warrior and rest assassin because they can move faster and have less health

This guide is awesome. Nice how you pointed out many weaknesses and strengths of the characters. It is veryyyyyy true that Crystal Lyra can poke Blackfeather to death easily early(done that myself unfortunately). Also, it is Crystal Kestrel is not very good together(turned out a disastrous late game).

Nice job, especially taking the time to do the Synergies. Your guide has the best explanations and includes almost all heroes with the kinds of build. I just have one thing to point out, Weapon Catherine DOES exist. I use her myself. She a nightmare with Sorrowblade, Tornado Trigger and Tyrant's Monocle, and her stun chucks your health away. Maybe you can add that?

Great Guide. :)

Very well done, thank you! Could you possible make it clearer with recommending items. As in stating when to not go for something and when to go for it, as you have only really stated the ups and downs for certain items.

A very good guide but as a Kestrel semi main, I gotta correct a few things. Kestrel use her mist to lure enemies inside, or if it is a CP Kestrel, she can stealth behind enemies, and force enemies towards you. If CP, she musy wait to use glimmershot, if WP, she reposition and chase, then glimmershots in between basic attacks. You got them reversed. Anyway, WP Kestrel can use mist even while being attacked when she has Sorrowblade and some other items. This can drmatically improve her utility. Once attacked, she set trap and stun. I once paired up in Casual with Blackfeather with a WP Kestrel, the BF was WP. Our damage simply melts the enemies as BF use ULT to tank everything as I crit them to death.

The biggest mistake I see inexperienced Kestrel players make is that they think "can't hit what you can't see" and while this is true, most people have scout traps and flares everywhere and they end up getting caught out. Instead of letting the captain flare or face check, they just go invisible and try to face check but end up dying instead. They think that they can just go around in the bush looking for scout traps/the enemy team and run but they will get bursted down before the scout trap detonates. Slashingwinds is right about CP Kestrel having to go defensively late game and even I buy flares to check for traps occasionally so I don't get caught out. Okay sorry for the long speech but the point is CP Kestrel is better than WP late game because of the burst and sheer damage, she just has to play really defensively and bait out the enemy team.

The problem with CP Kestrel and that sort of playstyle (using mist to force enemies towards you) is she can get caught out incredibly easily. After Contraption comes out, which it should have at late game, where Blackfeather thrives, Crystal Kestrel can usually only play defensively. If she does play agressively, she doesn't have an escape, and can get blown up diver, if the enemy team has one. For Weapon Kestrel, the problem is she doesn't have much synergy with CP Blackfeather and his speed boost, and she can't initiate very well to take advantage of his poke. However, this is Weapon Kestrel and Crystal Blackfeather. I do think Weapon Blackfeather and Weapon Kestrel have synergy, but you will need a Bonesaw, and mentioning the combinations for double WP and double CP would end up making this guide far too long. Sorry, if that ended up being unclear in the guide.
