Blender Krul Top

So the enemy team was dumb enough to not ban Krul and either didn't pick him or couldn't because you did. Well, you've basically won already. Krul is by far the best all round jungle molester. His sustain is amazing provided he can keep engaging and is not forced to back off for whatever reason.

The principle behind this build is to add as much attack speed to Krul as possible. Not only will you secure more stacks on Spectral Smite sooner, allowing you to get good damage off on retreating enemies, but it will ensure you keep that lifesteal rolling in at the maximum possible as soon as possible.

As a Krul, it is your job to dive in and molest enemy carries. That said, Krul's health is not good enough for him to take on three enemies at once, but he should have just enough to kill a carry and his support if the laner is busy elsewhere. So be careful to pick fights that suit you.

Generally speaking, Krul is an ambush killer. Make a point of using the speed boost and slow when attacking from bushes. Try to not be predictable though. Pick random areas to ambush and make sure your support is with you to assist. Having a support with Contraption is a good idea, since more vision means better ambushes.

Adagio is an incredible support because his buffs will allow you to be all the Krul you can be. Otherwise, he pairs well with Ardan, Phinn and Catherine. Although he does not really synergise with Fortress, it can be made to work considering Fortress can put out some decent damage too and assist with chasing.

You could overdrive From Hell's Heart, but I don't recommend it. While you do get a nice damage increase, your opportunity cost is too high considering you have to give up an overdrive on your A or B which you will use more often. Use your ultimate as an interrupter rather than a damage dealing skill.

First off, I don't buy Potions because I can pull back health if I need it with smite. Flares provide you with some extra vision and help you not die early on while you are weak. You could buy a mine if your laner is afraid of an early gank coming through the minion mine. Generally though, don't waste energy on minions - you need it for teamfights.

Early on, build towards a Blazing Salvo, then go for Shiversteel. Thereafter pick up your first Tornado Trigger. Then get more life and get a Crucible. Then another Tornado Trigger. At this point you can either go for another Tornado trigger, pick up a Bonesaw if the enemy have Metal Jacket or Sorrowblade if they go Atlas or Serpent Mask for sustain.

You could do an Aftershock, which will work nicely with your Dead Man's Rush and Spectral Smite, but I don't find you use the abilities often enough to make it worth the investment. The extra crystal damage is nice though, assuming you've built through Eclipse Prism. It's up to you, but I would rather just get more attack speed.

Avoid using Shiversteel if you have Shadows Empower Me up. After about 2 seconds, activate Shiversteel if needed to secure your kill or save it for that juicy two piece. I also avoid using Dead Man's Rush unless I need the barrier to keep me up. Generally it's used as a gap closer on a fleeing enemy. Spectral Smite will pull back the health you lose.

CP Krul is all about the burst on Spectral Smite. I have included a similar build with a Alternating Current, Aftershock and a Shatterglass. I hardly ever play CP Krul because he takes too long to farm up and will be weak early game and that generally loses you the game. If the enemy don't capitalize, you'll decimate them later.

Yep that's about it... Select Krul, build smart, play smart, profit. I hope you enjoy. Oh yes... Breaking Point... you can do it if you like but I can never get it to work for me. I find by the time it is useful I am either just about dead with my cooldowns still in effect and no enemies nearby. Broken Myth is more viable on CP Krul.
