Threat Hero Notes
1
Catherine A tank so your burst from both aftershock and tension bow should mow her down just watch for stuns and silences
1
Ardan Tank so just burst him down but watch for the ult as ranged characters will be out of reach in most fights when the ult pops
1
Fortress Burst Fortress and all tanks in general just be wary of his ult giving that armor boost and vision
2
  No Threat
3
Phinn Aftershock should shred through his health from tank items but beware the stun and pull
4
Adagio Depending on what he builds, he can kill you pretty fast so watch for that but another one of the tank heroes that can be taken down with ease
4
Lance Another one of those characters where the build can change the game so if he builds something other than tank be careful
5
  No Threat
6
  No Threat
7
Krul With out atlas late game don't even try to challenge Krul
7
Skye When paired with ardan she can devastate as she can murder you while you can't leave the field but other than that she can be slippery at points but use Alpha's A or boots even to catch up
8
SAW When saw has all 12 stacks and is running WP don't challenge unless you want to get wrecked hard
8
Ringo Ringo can pump out consistent DPS and high DPS as well which can shred you before you can get in 2 or 3 hits. Suggest building atlas then use Alphas A to slow and get close then Atlas him
8
Blackfeather Letting him hit on points and stacking hearts can lead you to dying fast so be careful of that as well as his ult countering the slow from your A. Other than that you should be good
8
Celeste Celeste can play good keep away and has a good stun making you not able to burst for a while which might lead to your death or her getting away.
9
Taka His Kaku smoke can allow him to burst and then leave easily so have someone like a tank on your team or even celeste provide vision
9
Koshka Without reflex block her stun can stun you to a point of where you can't burst and can get freely killed so have an aegis or tank with crucible provide a reflex block for you
9
Glaive Depending on the build Glaive can be a big problem. He can most likely 1v1 you late game and his afterburn early on is also really good as it can let him escape through walls or even push you into his whole team to get wrecked.

Alpha a pretty good burst warrior/assassin Top

Okay to start off I want to say that yes Alpha is a pretty underrated hero and that she is also pretty lacking in most categories, but with this build, she turns into a pretty good hero that can shred targets in fights and as they flee. This is also my first build and I just joined the VaingloryFire community recently as well so yeah.

Early Game Top

At the start of the game focus on CP and aftershock first for reliable burst on high HP targets. Buy the crystal bit and 2 potions to keep you going in jungle. After you get the aftershock, sell extra potions if needed and also buy items leading up to the tension bow like piercing spear. Also the early game can also allow you to go into lane slowing the enemy laner and then leaving swiftly netting a free and easy kill. Just be careful for jungle invades as well.

Mid Game Top

At this point you should have both aftershock and tension bow along with at least tier 1 boots. At this point you can go for either tier 2 boots or start to go for shatterglass which will help your ult do damage later in the game. You also want to build towards sorrowblade to do more basic attack damage as well. You can also fight more often as you have the 2 core items which will allow you to burst every 3-4 seconds with her B/ core charge. Also for laners be wary that they aren't super squishy anymore and can and might either kill you or use boots to flee to the enemy turret.

Late Game Top

Towards the end of the game you should have the Aftershock, tension bow, shatterglass, and sorrowblade along with at least tier 2 boots and the tornado or defense item needed. The end game should go very well as people will see you and typically underestimate you but your burst will just screw them over and force them to leave. Her cooldown on core change \ her B will also be about 3 seconds or even lower if you land basic attacks. Just know that tension bow will not activate every time you use Alpha's B because of the cooldown on it. You should also be dominating 1v1's as you can burst and even when you start to lose or are about to die use her ultimate and then her A to close the gap and deal massive damage. Just be wary that if you are stunned or silenced you will not be able to do the huge burst damage at all until the CC is over.

Mentality with this Alpha build+tips on playing her Top

Okay so you really want to play like a burst assassin dealing huge amounts of damage in a short time withe the core charge and chasing with the prime directive. You should always burst the person dealing the most damage per second and then go in order for who is doing more damage after that typically leaving the tanks for last. Her core charge also has a good lunge distance allowing you to close the gap and get hits in. The ult is also a good utility for when you're close to death as it gives you armor and allows you to burst for a little more time before you blow up dealing about 900 damage on people that don't have shield. A thing that Alpha is good at is slowing someone with her A and then dashing next to them. This means that if you use her A then B right after, you can Atlas characters like Ringo who hit fast and hard and allows you to burst freely. The funny thing is that even when you have the trigger, its only there to reduce the cooldown of core charge so even if you find yourself hit by atlas it shouldn't matter much as you still burst high and the cooldown of it is stil roughly 3 seconds. Alpha's ultimate will also do massive damage up close so you might want to either save your A for it or if you can survive long enough initiate fights with it.
