Vox Close range characters should prove no harm to skaarf especially this one, his short range kite will let skaarf crush him, this can also go the other way around if your not careful
2
SAW another easy target, because of his slow mobility he is easy to hit with fireballs and goop puddles. Just get the first hit onto him or when he uses suppressing fire

Celeste literally a glass cannon, she can be the one chasing you or you can be chasing her down. try to be the one chasing her.

Krul He can get on to you fairly quickly and is hard to kite back without giving up a stack , it'd be best just to avoid fight him head on unless you have an atlas
8
Petal She is seriously dangerous on that CP, be really careful , and unless you can get the first fireball and goop onto her try to avoid her
9
Taka literally your worst nightmare, he can box and then X-retsu, Kaiten. Even elite players have trouble kiting this hero, keep flares or stick to your support
9
Koshka she is so strong once she gets items, its sort of ridiculous.

NOTE! Top

make sure to kite back with your skill shots when your getting chased with skaarf, i cant stress how important this is. If you dont remember or get anything from this guide at least remember this, there are many reasons why this is so important.
For one, when you kite back with the skill shot your get life steal from the eve of harvest , allowing you to stay in the fight to do that much more damage
Secondly, you could snag an important kill. This is so important, if you have a taka on you and you manage to kill him, that changes the whole fight. Whether the ace kill or not it is still one less person your team has to worry about.
Third of all, if you havent gotten stacks from your broken myth, then you can build more stacks and gain more crystal lifesteal.

Defensive Picks and Shielding Top

Skaarf is generally a squishy hero , most of them are , and is especially hard to play with when your up agaisnt an "in-your-face-hero" (i.e. taka , koshka and so on so forth) Its simple really, if your having problems with an ability then its safe to get a reflex block or build it into and aegis or crucible. However if your getting mauled to death by an aggressive WP carry , its best to buy a metal jacket. Though there are some circumstances where atlas pouldran is useful , as in agaisnt either Glaive or Krul (if your team doesnt already have on , if so just stick witha mteal jacket, or if your short on gold you might as well spend it on the atlas if your having trouble with the teamfights and you expect another one soon).

First Few picks decide your whole build Top

For Skaarf the first core item will always be Eve of harvest, following up you can either choose Broken Myth or Shatterglass.
[*] Go with the Shatterglass if you want consecutive damage over time
[*] Go with Broken Myth , however , if you feel like your staying in fights alot and are building stacks easily. My usual build consists of the broken myth (doing 243-431 damage early to mid to late game)
Keep in mind however if you decide, you can have both of these in your build.
Your Third pick is sort of important as far as damage goes in teamfight, For example if you were to build a frostburn that would prevent the enemy (say taka or koshka) get away easily. However if you decide to use shatterglass then you are trying to go for a more fast kill, there are any perks about this (Frostburn) , for one it still deals alot of crystal damage and applies a slow for a brief moment which allows skaarf to ensure a skill shot hit after each passing few seconds. For two this skill shot and effect of frostburn can work over a passing period of a few seconds, so once you have slowed them, basic attacked, and skill shotted them you can do this over (Granted they arent already dead)
