Threat Hero Notes
1
Skaarf Squishy target, pounce from a bush and deliver a few ability strike to kills.
2
SAW Slow moving, get up close and personal, don't let him run. Avoid his bullet stream.
2
Joule Moderately squishy and very slow. Avoid big red button, get out of the blue circles. Otherwise an easy target.
3
  No Threat
4

5
  No Threat
6
Taka Moderately difficult target, easy to damage, but hard to kill.
6
Ringo Just keep up with him, and don't let him out of your melee range. Avoid his final.
6
Adagio Dependent on play style and skill. Can be an easy target, or a deadly threat. Watch carefully and learn to assess the difference. Don't attack with just journey boots and a scout trap.
7
  No Threat
8
Krul Careful around Kruls and do your best to kill them before they can get enough stacks on you. Letting them chase your from a distance while you pounce back in forth at them is a good idea.
9
Glaive His stun can really screw you over, look out for that. Also very hard to run from. Don't attack them, unless they're already weak, or unless you have support.
9
Petal Hard to pounce on because of minions. Not good for hit and runs. But good for extended battles.
10
Koshka This can be one of your worst enemies. Pay attention to what items they build, and do your best to level faster than they do.
10
Catherine Another terrible foe. Catherines can stun you and toss you around leaving you running from something that you can't escape. Avoid at all costs.

Team Making Top

Koshka is best played with her as the only, or primary jungler. It's better to have the other two heroes start in the lane.

Great Team Mates:
  • Adagio: A perfect match for Koshka, especially if played in the lane.
  • Catherine: Can get you out of some battles that could otherwise go south fast.
  • SAW: Great at turning around jungle fights.
  • Ringo: Great at turning around jungle fights.

Ehh...:

Starting Top

Koshka is one of the fastest characters at gain gold and leveling, we're going to focus on that in this guide, so start off by buying an Ironguard Contract to maximize our gains. Also don't forget to grab four halcyon potions for health & energy restoration. There are two situations to consider here: One, you are the only jungler, which is ideal. Or two, there is another jungler on your team.

In the less ideal scenario where you are joined by another jungler, you and the other jungler will want to establish who is going to run-out to mid, and who is going to go close. If you are the faster hero, or if you left base a ways ahead of the other player I recommend going mid. This means you will focus on the two jungle camps that are near the gold mine and jungle shop. If you aren't getting enough gold, and have long down times between camps spawning, feel free to risk roaming to the enemy camps. For mid, run out to the furthest camp as soon as you have finished shopping, and select skills on the way.

If you are slower, or got a late start go close, this means attacking the two camps near base. Don't worry a ton here, you've got some time to make it to camp. Try not to steal gold from the mid jungler, that'll put them at risk. Instead use Twirly Death (TD) to kill some lane minions every now and then.

If you are the only jungler, then you get to bask at how quick you'll get rich. Start by heading all the way down to the (1) furthest minion camp (try to get there before camps spawn in). Once that one is dead, head up to the (2) loner camp that is furthest from your base, but closer than the camp you just killed. Then head to the (3) duo camp that is behind the minion mine. Finally kill the (4) loner camp closest to your base, then head all the way back to (1). Shopping should be done after killing (1), only shop if you're ready to buy.

TIP: To get to camps quickest, use the mini-map to view were the camp will spawn and tap on the ground there. Your character will then route the shortest path there. This is useful for the start of the game, or after respawns.

TIP: To conserve energy, only use TD on minion camps, and only use it once. This is the one way to not have a net loss of energy.

Early Top

The first thing we are going to build is the recommended item, Frostburn. We are only going to buy the battery items leading up to it to save time. Start by buying the Energy Battery, and then upgrade it to a Void Battery. Maintain your 5 halcyon potions, use them as necessary.

TIP: Potions should be used after a fight, not during. Getting hit by an enemy will end the region they provide, plan accordingly.

Early Mid Top

Stay on your route as much as possible, avoid conflict with enemy heroes unless they come into your territory. Minion mines should not be captured unless you plan on pushing the lane, or unless the enemy steals yours. Having a minion mine without pushing the lane only gives enemy laners more gold. The best thing you can do is to keep on your route, you should notice yourself leveling and upgrading much faster than enemies by now.

By this point you should have a Frostburn, this will cause your attacks to slow enemies making it hard for them to run from you. It also increases your attack power and your energy.

Mid Top

Now we start to get moving. Buy yourself two entirely new items: Sprint Boots and an Oakheart. The sprint boots we will wait to upgrade, but they already provide us with a means of escaping. The Oakheart provides us with some more health, we'll be upgrading this now.

NOTE: Around this time your team should take the gold mine.

Health

So now we're going to build up Kasha's health to make her less squishy, as well as providing an alternative to halcyon potions. Upgrade your Oakheart to a Lifespring, this will increase your passive regen. Finally upgrade it to a Fountain of Renewal. This will provide you with faster regeneration, and it's active ability will apply a region buff to you and nearby allies.

Armor

Let's make Koshka even less squishy with a bit of armor. Start with Light Armor, upgrade to Coat of Plates, and finally Metal Jacket. Each upgrade will further reduce the damage you take from basic attacks, the Metal Jacket offering tons of protection.

Speed

Koshka should be a lot less squishy now. So let's get her moving faster. It's fine if you've already upgraded your boots in the mean time, but it's best to leave the final upgrade until now. Get yourself some Journey Boots.

NOTE: By this time, your team should be ready to start pushing. Capture those mines, and grab the Kraken when you're ready.

Final Top

Build up your last little bit of cash now, around 2600 gold. We're going to sell your iron guard contract for an Aftershock so we can start dealing some hard damage, and even a little life steal. Once the cash is there, sell the contract, don't sell it before that. Now you're ready to make the final push, and leave the jungle. No more shall you need to stick to your route around the camps, now you can fight!

Alternative to Potions

One last change you can make here is to sell your Halcyon Potions and buy a second Fountain of Renewal. This is more cooperative as it'll provide your allies with health as well, and is a good idea if you have an Adagio on your team to do instant healing.

Skill Progression Top

This is the easiest way to remember the skill progression. Always prioritize Twirly Death, then your final ( Yummy Catnip Frenzy), and lowest priority is Pouncy Fun. The exception is that you should always unlock a new skill as priority to upgrading existing ones.

The reason for this particular progression is that Twirly Death is your best skill due to it's ability to damage multiple target and provide a bonus to basic attacks, so you want to bring that to overdrive.

Yummy Catnip Frenzy stuns and damages enemies, making it a better version of Pouncy Fun. So give this all three levels to minimize it's cooldown.

Pouncy Fun is your worst skill and is left at four levels.

Play Style Top

This is a defense focused build. You don't go on the offense until the end, when you're able to tear through almost everybody.

Avoid attacking full health targets, they have enough time to call allies.

Never attack parties by yourself, you a teammate to start the fight, and pounce on a low health target. Then both of you focus on the last target.
