Really awesome build! I like the "More Aggresive" build. I almost always win with this build if my teammates aren't an unskilled player or troll! If the opponents build shield, try to change the Frostburn to Broken Myth for better wolves damage! Hope Fortress-er read this guide

Yeah, usually prefer tankier for cp fort, but maybe I'll try out frostburn for the slow

I Cp fortress and love the fact that he can simply run away and let them bleed so i wold replace a defensive item with a shatterglass or frostburn for that aspect of his law of the claw

It's good enough for an upvote. I really liked it. I haven't played WP Fortress in an insanely long time so I haven't considered it, but your idea is making me think that the change to the ult can make WP viable as well as CP now. There is a lot of synergy there with the ult's attack speed boost and the A applying a basic attack. I'd actually like to play with you sometime to see you play Fortress at a Hotness level of play. It sounds like you know what you're doing and I like you're ideas.

Hey fellow fortress lover! Your guide is so on point for the CP and Utility versions of his play. I noticed you didn't have a WP portion to your guide. I just finished my "WP Fortress: Bouncing Snarl" guide, would you please take a look and tell me what you think of it. http://www.vaingloryfire.com/vainglory/guide/wp-fortress-bouncing-snarl-13577

Well, the reason why he shouldn't go carry is because, even though his abilities are strong, he would still get beat 1v1 a large majority of the time. Fortress isn't quite as powerful as the other carries in the game. As a support, prioritizing defense items is crucial, as you won't be nearly as tanky as Catherine or even Ardan. He has great natural damage, which will do it's job to help your team even without offensive items. In addition, because he is so squishy he is a threat to die even as the tank. He needs the defense just to survive in fights. I would say that early game even without any offense and just defense, he is still unbalanced leaning towards more offensive. If you want to go more offensive as a support, I would say to just follow this build, but build Aftershock sooner. Get your Fountain, Stormguard Banner, boots, and then build Aftershock. Carry Fortress is something that I believe wouldn't win many games, but it still can and has potential. Get an early Fountain then build CP like the typical Koshka build.

Nope! Cp loses 1v1s, sure, but in teamfights his wolves/fortified health are incredibly strong, so if you're smart about using your ult it works really well IMO. Also, A + eve + aftershock is a ton of healing.

Just asking for everyone's opinions here (so be as honest as can be), but is it feasible to build Fortress in such a way as to have him harbour aspects of both a support and carry? The thing is, I've been experimenting with a number of builds on him, and have been playing with him for a while. I've seen different sides as to how he can play; the majority of the community agrees that he's support and can only be that why, whilst some others suggest he can be an assassin like character. I think he would have that potential with his abilities, but would there be a type of balance between the two: to ensure that you are both helping out your team at more or less the same standard and to also cause a decent amount of damage as to become a single threat yourself?

yeah, I guess he could be built as a jungler as opposed to a support. Idk, I dont have fortress, but I think it is possible to play him as an assassin since he has some really good early game damage and presence.
