Taka Taka is squishy, and it is so easy to catch him with all these booties! Just keep those flares handy.
3
Joule The difference between you and normal Joule, is movement. You are a tank, and have just as much kill power as she does, but you can chase and escape 4x better than she can. Honestly, why would you go with another build than this one?
4
Skaarf Watch out for the burn, but your added health and shielding should give you plenty of time to catch the dragon. Also, drop your Boom! on him when he starts his ultimate.
5
Glaive Glave has a hard time bullying you with this build. He is usuall going to go for your squishy attacker, or Ardan, just like you might be trying to go for his attacker. The only time you are actually going to fight Glave, is when you meet alone in the jungle. You'll both be evenly matched, but if the get close to dying, you can get away. Just try not to get cocky about your escape abilities. When I die, it is because I started thinking, "I can do anything I want because escaping makes me invincible!!"
5
Petal Usually not a problem, just watch out for fuses on the Bramblethorn Pets!
6
Ardan Ardan is easy one on one, but he will usually be with a friend. If you are attacking along side a team mate, focus Ardan, then get your booties out of there before his ally gets even. Then turn back around and land a rocket leap on them once they start going for your ally. Or let them go if they run away.
7
SAW When you gank into the lane to step on saw, make sure to land your rocket leap. This slows his attack speed back to normal, and gives you a chance to kill. A Saw at full speed with eat you up fast, so get out of there if you miss!
7
Ringo Ringo is a sneaky damage powerhouse mid-late game. While he is very squishy, especially landing a rocket leap on him, his speedy damage and slow down ability can catch you by surprise.
8
Krul One on one you have a good chance of killing Krul. Mid game, you should be near and helping allies, so Stun him. But if things are looking bad, or if another hero shows up, run for it.
9
Koshka You seem to be evenly matched against a well played Koshka. She can hunt you down, even when using your booties to get away. Early game is not a problem one on one, but mid-late game she is problematic. And very difficult to land a rocket leap on! You may have to adapt the build to keep her from killing you too quickly.
9
Adagio With his decent health, burn, and slow-down, this hero can sometimes be a problem. It is rare to catch him alone. Land a rocket leap on him asap in a team fight to stop him from getting in the way of your fun.
10
Catherine Catherine's stun is a big problem for weapon Joule. She can make it very difficult to engage multiple enemies. Stun will usually be long enough to get you killed if you are attacking all three heroes.

Not a joke build. Top

So you probably saw the item build and instantly regret wasting your time clicking on this guide, but don't dismiss it just yet. This is a serious build that is a ton of fun to play. It is all about movement. I had a funny idea to just buy a bunch of sprint boots as fast as possible to have crazy escape/chase ability. But then I found out that while it says boots don't stack, that only applies to their movement increase. The health, health regen, shield, and armor seem to all stack just fine. This works incredibly well for joule, giving her heavy tank qualities, and movement to get up and go. This works best if you are a lone jungler as long as you keep an eye on the enemy.

As your team's tank, it is your job to get deep in the heart of a team battle, survive, and kill squishy damage dealers.

I'd love to hear feedback, or if you know some ways to improve it! I'll be playing it a bunch over the next few days to share strategies and more in depth scenarios!

Early game Top

With your added speed, you can rush to middle shop and pick up a scout trap, lay it near the enemy's minion camp and wait for an early ambush/minion steal if they show up. It's a risky move, and a lot of this build is about keeping yourself alive, so, use your booties to get out of there if a second jungler shows up. Go for Journey Boots first, add weapon power, then work toward your next three booties (note, booties with cooldown that are upgraded lose their cooldown.) if you've used your booties, cut the cooldown in half by upgrading them, and again for the journey boots.

Core game Top

Once you have four fully upgraded booties, start working toward your breaking point. War Horn can be useful for helping capture mines and turrets, and a slight speed boost, but possibly not as effective as getting a silver steal, so you can max your breaking point more easily, and boost your health again. Keep your last item slot free for flares. Keeping an eye on the enemy is key to making the right play.
