Why play the support role as Blackfeather? Top

Why not? Let's list off the Utilities that Blackfeather brings to the table.

High Mobility.
Increased movement speed to nearby allies with his A. (Fortress-esque)
His B, which is an excellent harassing poke, provides a barrier that scales with 15% of his bonus health. (And oh yeah, the B is a SLOW)
He has a great passive that scales his damage per stack of broken hearts, and provides a more crippling slow (B ability) or blow (A), relative to how big your stack is. (Krul-esque)
And ALL of his abilities help close in on enemies in some way.

Oh! His C makes him immune to negative effects like stuns and slows and he takes greatly reduced damage!

With all of this utility, I think it would be HIGHLY benefitial to BE ALIVE and be applying these benefits in the midst of a fight. Yes, Blackfeather is listed as an assassin and can definitely do it! But with all these utilities, it's better to be sticky like Fortress than shifty like Taka.

So maybe I've convinced you so far on the point, BUT, there is probably something glaring to your about my proposed build. "WHERE IS THE ATTACK SPEED? Come on! Stacks? 10 focus per basic attack? The table is set for attack speed!"

To which I respond. You're looking at it all wrong. First, consider that EVERY time you hit a hero with your B ability, you gain 35 focus right back. (And that sweet shield that will keep alive). Second, understand that being alive longer gets you to max stacks just as well as getting the stacks quicker in the first place, but with the added benefit of being alive long enough to rinse and repeat. When playing BF always think Fortress and Krul over Taka and Koshka and you will have a TON of success!

Well.. Maybe not if you solo queue. Lol. You will get a lot of question mark pings and allies afraid to dive in behind you in team fights expecting you to be squishy (not so!). So be sure to try this build with a team you trust before judging it too quickly.

In summation, I honestly don't believe this breaks the Meta for BF, I believe it is the Meta. Please give it a shot and let me know how it goes!
