*cough* SO!!, It's been 2 years since I did a guide uphere, no one might remember but who cares, as an old school Skaarf main, I'm going to show both new players and old ones to take control of this Never Out of Meta hero.Now let us burn this world. *insert skaarf sound here*

*Ciderhelm voice* Skaarf is an adorable dragon....blah blah Fire, blah blah Fan the Flames( oh wait IT'S GONE).
- Yes, as you could see, Skaarf's perk got nerf..Hard!, back then you could go with a Blazing Salvo and a Broken Myth at 6 min then *BOOM* ez gg. But since that old build was so gud back then, the dev nerfed his perk to only and ONLY deals minor post damage when out of combat at early games to secure the kill, kinda like the Ignite spell in LoL(Yeah I try out LoL and it was decent).
But Leo..you may ask, His perk is the only thing he is good back then and his ult fam they nerfed his ult aswell *cries in terror that skaarf sucks now* .Shut it just shut it, You fams are still back in 2.0 or even earlier, sure his perk is nerfed and his ult doesn't deal much damage with Eve or Broken Myth, but hey you still got his A and B( oh btw the Dev buffed his A...Hard!), get an Eve or Shatterglass and with precise aiming thus prediction with his A, you will get about *calculating*...Over 300 damage at 6th or 7 minutes or even earlier and that's insane!. Oh yeah, you can still do the old combos A then B then Auto, the usuals

-Just like on the Internet, you start the roast with something small and by small I mean Big, drain your enemy HP down to 50% with Dem A Trickshots. His A has damn high damage at mid games so use it wisely or just go ba**** insane by Spamming it til you have low Mana.
-After throwing out the small roasts, you'll need to add things up and It's really is getting Hot in here. His B is damn gud, you can use it for slowing down your enemies ( ye everyone knows that) or you can use it to create a Whirling Fire Spin( Pokemon Reference) in the middle of team fights or heals back up with the Eves. But let me tell you...That you could use his B to do something else.
-The final climax, after throwing out some small roast and back ups, you will end the roast with something good, something that will roast your enemy to ashes, Skaarf's ult, now hold up as we all know, his ult also got nerfed alot, but did you know that instead of using his B for extra damage and healing, you can also use it for a huge game changer and seize victory in late team fight moments, by the time your enemy has very low amount of HP, they will start to run...or not if they're wise and able to do a great come back, but fck it your ult is able to change what ever the heck they're trying to do wether it is runing away or coming back, remember Inhale( Slowing down run away targets) and then Exhale( Boost teamate movements when in ultimate space) note if you're able to reach late game with high damage items such as Shat or Frostburn along with an Eve, you can heal back just enough to stay fresh in battle while slowly draining down your enemy HP. (note: I tend to see players running away from skaarf's ult or trying to stun it kinda like stunning Adagio's ultimate, so be sure to buy a Reflex Block , and time it wisely)

And that's pretty much how you play Skaarf nowadays, but before I go I would like to give out some small tips when playing Skaarf:
1st: Don't die or feed..please if ya feed then ya won't be able to get enough items to burn everything at mid game, use his A as some sort of bush checker to see if there are enemies in it.
*blurph* tip number 99th: uhh...Burn everything, legit Skaarf is able to take down objective insanely fast, faster than SAW imo, so use that advantage to take down early Kraken or burn down 1st turret whenever possible and please don't get gank when doing so.

There seems to be a new Meta that I like to call, Mages Rages where all the mage heroes(specially skaarf) goes jungling instead of laning, *flash back of tips 99th* Since skaarf is good for taking down objectives, he would be good for clearing out jungle monsters and leveling up fast to get good items. The only problem is that, it lacks money but hey ya get free manas amirite?
