Threat Hero Notes
1
Skaarf Rocket leap to stun her and then decimate her with your Thunder Strikes. Shes very squishy so you shouldn't have too many problems. If need be use Big red button.
2
Ringo With the extra armor you get with joule this guy shouldnt pose too much of a problem. He is also fairly squishy and so Thunder Strike away! Element of surprise is always best when dealing with Ringo as his slow can be annoying and cause you to take more damage then necessary.
3
Petal Petal is a little tougher but with your area attack from Thunder Strike, her munions will be barbecued in seconds leaving her seriously vulnerable. Try not to chase this one too much though. A petal with frostburn especially early on is dangerous to chase with.
3
Adagio Squishy but his slows can really stop you from getting the kill. Watch out for his cc as he can kite you quite well allowing time for his team to come assist him. If its taking a while to take him down then dont chase. Also be careful of his Ult. His Ult can not only stun you but also silence you leaving you completely useless for a few seconds.
4
Catherine Lots of Health and damage mitigation. Be sure to have either a lot of CP or a Broken Myth if she buys shields. Be careful of her stun. If you time your Big Red button poorly, she can stun you and waste your ult.
5
Glaive Harder to hit with Big Red button as he has a very fast escape or stun. Wait for him to use his After burn if your going to Ult him.
5
Joule If your going against a weapon power joule dont go toe to toe. Try and attack with your teammates or if a one on one is unavoidable, start with thunder strikes, do your burst damage and rocket jump out and follow up with Big Red Button.
5
Krul He can be quite tanky with his heals. Dont exchange blow for blow because he will always come out on top. Take him on as a team or if your by yourself, use Big Red Button as an opener. This will take him down to almost no health. He will either take the huge risk and still attack or he will run giving you the chance to Rocket jump and secure the kill.
6
  No Threat
7
SAW This guy can be tricky. Dont go full frontal if he is spun up. if he spins up get distance and beam the hell out of him. He will have to run, getting rid of his spin up stacks. Follow up with a rocket jump and then thunder strikes.
8
  No Threat
9
  No Threat
10
Taka His stealth can be very irritating and his mobility can make it hard to land your abilities. Be sure to pick up some flares through the match to keep him in check. Frost Burn is also nice to slow his movements and allow you to land your abilities.
10
Koshka Very difficult to take down once shes in your face. Her run speed boost makes her almost inescapable. Better to approach her as a team unless your overly fed. Try catching her off guard to burst her down before she can use her abilities and their effects.

Guide Top

When you start, always get Ironguard. The extra money is crucial to getting built up fast so you can get a good amount of sustain as well as cp early on, giving you the upper hand in fights.

Go for Frostburn first as it will allow you to land more Thunder strikes before they can get away or get help. Having frostburn early on also is a great way lock down laners when going for a gank or when in team fights allowing you or your allies to secure a kill where they would have gotten away otherwise. Energy wont be a concern once you get at least Void Battery while building into Frostburn.

In the beginning of the match do not focus on getting kills. If your in a fight early on DO NOT chase. Try and do enough damage without getting too overzealous to get them to teleport back to base. This will allow you to counter jungle and take a lead. Your focus should be to avoid feeding while farming gold and denying your enemies their jungle nodes.

When you hit level 6 then you can start going for kills. When you hit level 6 you should be at least finishing up your frostburn and then proceeding to get tons of CP with Shatterglass. The extra boost in CP at this point in the match will make your Big Red Button hit so hard it will 1 shots enemies or do a debilitating amount of damage a majority of the time

You next item should be Clockwork. This will allow you to have your Big Red Button up more often and also give you a little more CP.

Alright so now we have pretty decent Burst damage. But what about sustained damage? With Thunder Strikes being on such a short cooldown, its a no brainer that Aftershock is the item to go for. the cooldown of your aftershock almost matches that of aftershock.

Finally the items under SITUATIONAL.

Metal Jacket Get this if your enemies are stacking a lot of Weapon power and your on the ropes.
Aegis Get this if your enemies are stacking a lot of Crystal power and your on the ropes.
Broken Myth If your doing well but your enemies are starting to build a lot of shields.
Crucible If you cant decide which type of defense to get, health is always good too.
Alternating Current If your doing great and just want to kill things a little faster

Will update as time passes Top

I plan of revising this guide as i find more effective ways of approaching CP Joule according to my own play style. You may notice that the build has already been adjusted since the video of CP Joule came out.
