Adagio atlas and crucible are your friends.
2
Krul atlas and crucible are your friends.
2
Ringo atlas is your friend.
2
SAW atlas is your friend.
3
Catherine initiate before Catherine; try to position your ult to have enemy near the edges for an easy stun.
3
Petal your vanguard ability will help deal damage to minions and close in for the kill with your teammates.
3
Taka flares ftw! don't let taka snowball your team with assassinations; monitor battles in other areas to flare up for when taka wants to flee with low heath.
4
Koshka squishy bruiser; could go either way in team fights.
4
Skaarf skaarf's buffed in this latest patch; cath may be your best defense against skaarf.
5
Ardan ardan is a tide turner and has great survivability. Could go either way.
5
Glaive atlas will help some but if stun becomes a problem, use crucible.
5
Joule joule is buffed in latest patch; expect to see more AOE stuns which will put a damper on your plans.

Here's an example of where I went 2v3 using my build.

NOTE: halycon potion is used in the "item choices" section as a divider to show what items were upgraded or purchased with the latest shop visit.

Early game: Start off with Ironguard Contract and 2 Halcyon Potion and run to the jungle shop to purchase a Scout Trap. The scout trap is good to place in the bushes near the jungle shop so you can avoid some early game ganks. If you and your ally are creeping together, you can try invading their jungle, keeping an eye on the enemy laner wanting to come into the jungle. Focus on jungle camps closest to the jungle shop to start with. Ardan has great survivability with jungle creeps so expect to use the main jungle shop most of the time.

Early Mid Game (Jungle): Use Shiversteel, Blood for Blood to begin slowing the enemy and finally Vanguard on your ally to kill enemy heroes. Note that Blood for Blood needs full vengeance to activate so bring it up by attacking a jungle creep or two if needed. If you don't have Shiversteel yet, your Vanguard ability will help some to close the gaps. If the enemy retreats, chase a little but then focus on killing a few of their jungle creeps to deny gold.

Mid Game: You will be focusing on building up extra damage ( Breaking Point first if you are doing well in battles) and survivability ( Crucible first if you need that extra longevity for your team in battles).

Late Game: Use Blood for Blood to close on the enemy heroes with fast attack speed (check their items) and then activate Atlas Pauldron. Activating Crucible in team fights should be situational: i.e., if you have the only crucible, if they have AOE effect abilities ( Adagio ult, Joule stun, Skaarf ult), or survivability ( Ringo ult).

Ability Review Top

Vanguard is great for applying to your allies that benefit the most with closing the gap ( Krul to begin specctal smite stacks sooner, Glaive for stun punts with Afterburn and Adagio for casting Gift of Fire). Using level 5 Vanguard on your allies also replenishes 30% of vengeance.

Blood for Blood needs full vengeance to trigger and is on a fixed timer (20 sec) that is replenished by using your ult ( Gauntlet), basic attacks (increased attack speed helps) or using level 5 Vanguard on your allies (adds 30% vengeance).

Gauntlet has a number of different uses depending on the situation; timing is everything:
* When attacking the kraken, use your ult and/or flares to prevent the kraken steal.
* If you are in a team fight where you have the advantage, use your ult to prevent escape when they are escaping or to prevent another enemy from joining the fray if you think you can kill them before your ult expires (4-6 seconds).
* If you have Glaive on your team, use your ult in combination with afterburner. If the afterburner pushes the enemy near your tower, your ult will make the enemy hero take massive damage from the tower.
* Try to position the ult to break up the team so that some enemy heroes will be out of the Gauntlet arena.
