I recommend staying at lane until your lv8 or until your rocket leap is lv 4.
You can join your teammates if you have the following requirements.
Lvl 8 Items
Rocket leap lvl 4 Potion X5
Thunder Strike lvl 3 Eve of Harvest
Big red Button lvl 1 Travel boots
But don't get too condfident cause in this state you get to be careful cause ur still not tough.
Mid Game? Top
It's your time to shine this is the part where you get to push and kill a lot promise.
So what are the requirements?
Lvl 9~10 would do as long as you have the following items

Tip# 1
For 7 minutes u can only have 5 potions and Book of eulogies.
Within 5 minutes I'm sure you won't be using potions unless you keep using thunder strike without timing.
Never worry with book of eulogies on your side you won't go red how?
Here comes Tip # 1 Keep an eye on the minions life bar it's red but when your attack is guaranteed to
Last hit the minion it will be a brighter red.

Don't get to near mostly if ur life is nearly going half.
Why 5 potions not for hp But for ( hp also sometimes) mana because you will be using thunder strike a lot to finish off minions.
Tip #2
Try To convince your teammates that you should be lane by Staying there for 7 minutes or so.
Only go back base to buy potion and item when your minions are near the enemy turret.
Never leave the enemy minions near your tower.
Tip#3
Being a coward isn't a bad thing just don't be a coward at all times.
Never try to kill an enemy unless there is an ally beside you to take the damage.
The journey boots will make you tough with the bonus armor provided by the perk.
You can take hits but not all of them so make sure there is a support such as Ardan or Catherine.

Late Game/Final Build ? Top
In the late game you probably won't build " Serpents Mask" and "Frostburn".
The reason is with you as lane you would have too much push that u won't have time to finish those two final build.
