Taka is deadly, especially to enemies with low health and/or protection, mainly enemy laners and assasins. The only thing to watch out for is scout traps and stuns because otherwise, even if you are on the losing end of a fight, you can escape with ease. However, this can only happen if you use the following tips...
First of all, until you either 1, get your ultimate, or two, get an alternating current, don't go searching for team fights as you will not have much base damage, even with your perk because
Taka attacks drastically slower than other heroes without buying attack speed items. Also, if you do get into team fights, unless you are chasing someone, don't just stand and auto attack because most heroes can stand and fight better than
Taka, so instead of staying still, hit, then move, usually the opposite direction of your opponent, then hit, and run, until you ware them down enough to chase them. MOST IMPORTANTLY, MAKE SURE TO FARM CONSTANTLY UNTIL YOU GET X-RETSU! If you don't farm well early game, you won't be able to turn the tide back in your teams favor late game, no matter how hard you try. Just for your info, with the alternating current and some other crystal power, once you land your
X-Retsu and you start auto-attacking, your crystal ratio for damage will actually be far higher than weapon, as you attack slightly faster than once per second with the alternating current creating a 57.5% crystal ratio for basic attacks alone, plus the 70% crystal ration for the mortal wound on
X-Retsu, which is refreshed with each basic attack, so therefore once landing your
X-Retsu and attacking with and alternating current buffed attack whenever you can, you will deal about 127.5% of your crystal power each second as damage. With the fact the
Taka heals significant amounts of health at a time whenever activating
Kaku, this makes him a deadly assassin who can constantly recover from large bursts of damage.
Taka is a very flexible assassin who able to meet any jungle players' needs, and any direction built with heavy burst (coming mainly from Crystal power) is generally extremely effective, especially on ambushes, ganks, and even finishing foes off.
