Threat Hero Notes
1
  No Threat
2
Joule Joule can be easily taken down, even if her Thunder strike can deal a lot of damage! Just simply dodge it with Kaiten! But, be aware of her ultimate, the Big Red Button!
3
Krul Believe or not, but Krul is quite squishy, especially if he is low on mana. You can easily get rid of him while he's feeding on your team mate, that way his Spectral Smite won't take away a great deal of your health!
4
  No Threat
5
Ringo Most Ringo's usually go weapon, and their lethality is very high. But just like a Taka, they're also very squishy. Try to attack the Ringo when they have their guard down, and always try to get the first hit in before they do, because Tension Bow can be very frightening.
6
Adagio Adagio isn't very frightening unless he unleashed Verse of Judgement, but can be avoided with Kaiten. But watch out for his Gift of Fire! You can get easily killed if you're slowed with the enemy's eyes all on you!
6
Celeste Everything about Celeste is quite dangerous. She can stun, deal major damage with her ultimate, Solar Storm, and her little stars, Heliogenesis. But unlike Glaive, she is very squishy, just like you. You can easily take her down if she isn't being carefully guarded by her team!
7
SAW If the SAW is going crystal, keep in mind that his second ability, Suppressing fire can be lethal on Taka.
8
Petal Petal and her minions can eat you up within seconds. Do not encounter her alone if she is building defense. But if she isn't building any defense and has over extended away from her team, you can easily take her down.
8
Ardan Watch out for Ardan's Blood to blood ability, especially if he is building Tension Bow. And also be sure not to get caught in his Gauntlet alone!
9
Koshka Koshka is also a melee assassin, and can deal just as much damage as you're able to. Be sure to watch out for her stun, because the enemy team can easily take you out while you're immobile. Also watch out for her second ability, Twirly Death, it can deal a lot of damage to dear vulnerable Taka.
9
Catherine Catherine is very difficult to kill if she's decked out on defense, and it will take very long to take her out, especially if she has war horn. If you get stunned by her, it's likely you'll die since the enemy's eyes will all be on you. Avoid taking her on first, save her for last, after all, she's just doing her job as the wall (protector)!
10
Skaarf Try to stay away from Skaarf until he has already unleashed his third ability, Dragon Breath, and his combo, Goop + Spit fire, since those two abilities can roast you without effort.
10
Glaive Everything about Glaive is dangerous to a Taka. With his first ability,Afterburn, he can easily strike you into his team mate's hands, and get you eaten. Twisted stroke, his second ability, and Bloodsong, his third ability, will take away more than half your health bar and may even get you killed. Try not to counter unless you have your team with you, especially if he has built in Serpents Mask.

Introduction Top

Hey guys! I'm Yuki, and this is the first build I've ever made. It's also for my main, Taka Whenever I solo-queue, I usually see players who are very confident in using Taka, and lock into him almost immediately. But, whenever the game starts going, I see that the Taka isn't used in a very efficient way. Especially when I'm playing as a tank, such as Catherine or Glaive. While I'm taking in all the damage from the opposing team, the Taka would usually ditch me, almost as if afraid to die, even though Taka can be so scary, and can end an opponents life almost instantly. These kinds of situations get me very frustrated, so I wanted to post the build I usually use when I play Taka, and the order I build it in. You may have noticed that this build comes with no armor at all, which will make Taka very fragile, so be sure to think twice before you decide to burst into a fight. Since this is a build only I may prefer, feel free to give any feedback and criticism on how the build can be put to use even more efficiently! I hope you guys will find my build very useful during your game play.

Start Top

At the beginning of the game, before you leave your base, you will want to get Ironguard Contract, two Halcyon Potions, and a Scout Trap. Definitely get a Scout Trap if you know your team is going in for a jungle fight! The Scout Trap will give you a health advantage, and the Halcyon Potions will keep you alive longer. Ironguard Contract will help you earn more money for your build, and since Taka doesn't clear camps as fast as other heroes, it's very effective.

Get Immediately Top

As Taka, you want to try to jungle as much as possible, and get to level 6 before the gold mine is almost full! With a Weapon Blade, Blazing Salvo and Sprint Boots, you can clear very quickly and hurry onto your next camp before the enemy steps into your jungle. This also works for invading enemy jungle, definitely start building your boots if you ever decide to. Once you reach level 6 before the gold mine is full, and you happen to come across the enemy already eating away at the gold miner, You can box your way to the gold miner without the enemy ever knowing and kill steal for the gold with X-Retsu.

Early Game Top

During early game, you want to already start building Tension Bow by buying Piercing Spear and Six Sins. Tension Bow is very lethal, especially if your opponent isn't building any defense yet, and you can use it for the scares! After you've gotten Tension Bow, start earning gold to buy Travel Boots. Because Taka is an assassin and is very, very, fragile, he needs to be able to weave in and out of fights very quickly and efficiently, that is also why you want to keep at least two Halcyon Potions with you at all times. When you're getting chased down, quickly go into your box and take unusual paths, or a path opposite of your enemies, to get them off your tail!

Core Items Top

Your core items during mid game should be Tension Bow, Travel Boots, Tornado Trigger, Sorrowblade, and three Halcyon Potions. Be sure that they are built in this order! Tornado Trigger and Sorrowblade will deal some heavy damage against the enemies, including Tension Bow, which will give you a health advantage if you manage to get the first hit in to scary your enemies!

Final Build Top

At your final build, you should already have Tension Bow, Travel Boots, Tornado Trigger, and Sorrowblade. Be sure to build Tyrant's Monocle next, to get some crits in! Do NOT start building Serpent Mask. Do not buy any tier 1 or tier 2 items to build Serpent Mask. Keep Halcyon Potions for your sixth slot until you have 2,800 gold coins to afford Serpent Mask. The Halcyon Potions will keep your health up while you're weaving in and out of battles, especially while you're in hiding to wait for your next kill to come.
