Pulse first, go lane or jungle either is fine. farm as hard as you are able, pulsing to check for opponents. rush your
Tension Bow for early teamfights--hope you have a tank using
Ironguard Contract to protect you and cover your frequent retreats (plus feed you!). You are squishy. Your A ability {
Sonic Zoom} is the center of this build- it procs all of your burst items. spam it frequently-you will often be close enough to your enemies to throw projectiles at them even when you are running away. It is up to you whether or not you build
Aftershock before
Alternating Current--the extra crystal power of AC is very nice for lane. On the other hand, Aftershock provides both ability cooldown and an awesome proc. Buy boots when your enemies do, but don't upgrade them until you have two of your burst items together. After you have your gorgeous burst damage together, kite the edges of teamfights, spam your A (which you max, of course) and build situational. feeling the lack of health? build an
Eve of Harvest. Enemies getting wise to your crystal power? build a
Broken Myth. Those stacks are easy to build and do huge work for your alternating current and ult. Enemies slippery and not taking enough damage in late game? Build a
Frostburn or a
Shatterglass. Vox is my favorite bursty hero because his A procs them all and can be spammed. so long as you kite hard, getting in and out of fights, you will be the absolute terror of the Halcyon Fold. (If you have both a broken myth and an eve of harvest, your A will restore a pretty big chunk of your health, almost enough to solo kraken. not quite. dangit.) P.S. You are a monster at clearing out jungle with vox. Learn the spots you can jump walls and use them when escaping or farming quickly.
