Threat Hero Notes
1
  No Threat
2
Koshka Get that early light shield!
2
Taka Make sure to get early Light Armor and don't miss Blood for Blood on Taka's Kiaten (flip)
3
Ringo Do NOT let jungle Ringo kite you. You have a gap closer and a slow to get to him early game, but once you get Shiversteel and level 6. There is nothing he can do. Early Atlas to make him even less of a threat.
3
Glaive Outdamage him with more dps.
4
  No Threat
5
Ardan Beat him before he beats you. Skill matchup.
6
Joule Her passive makes her really tanky. Dodge the Thunderstrikes and try to get behind her without missing any stutter steps.
7
Skye The kite machine. She WILL beat you if you fall for her kiting. Get to her with Blood for Blood and slow with Vanguard. Use Shiversteel AFTER she uses her B ability (dashy thing). She won't have any escape and if you haven't fed her you can out damage her as you sidestep her Forward Barrage.
8
Rona She has more dps than you do. It is rough BUT building early Coat of Plates or two light armors can help you trade better. Get the Blazing Salvo to try and keep up with her attack speed.
8
Krul Rough matchup. Work on bursting him down with your team with the help of a stun. Stuns followed by burst are his nightmare. Remember when he uses his Spectral Smite he has NO big damage unless you fed him Breaking Point stacks.

Early Game Top

Start with Swift Shooter, Pot, and Flare. First jungle shop, Tier 1 counter defensive item and mine.

If you're faced against anyone on the threat meter that is Ardan or easier you should fight. Make sure you are not being on the early game shop items. Do NOT face check bushes that will probably contain a mine. Flares are awesome. When you fight early a lot of fighters like Glaive and Koshka may stand there and fight you. Having a mine to drop forces them to run away or take mine damage.

If you are faced against anyone on the threat meter that is Joule or tougher don't be afraid to fight, just be REALLY careful. You can usually win these matches by out playing them. Check the description in the threat meter on tips to beat them. If you have mine damage in your favor it can help a lot in the level 1 and 2 fights. Kite around the Joule passive and Skye A ability. Focus on enemy cooldowns and abilities when going against Rona and Krul.

ALWAYS WATCH THE LANER! The last thing you want is to be winning a jungle fight and the laner to come down and help their jungle kill both of you. If you are walking into their tribush to kill them always make sure the enemy laner is in lane.

Mid Game Top

You should already have Blazing Salvo, Dragonheart, and Tier 1 Boots. If you are having trouble sticking to your target and know you can kill them get the Shiversteel especially against hero's like Ringo and Skye who rely on kiting. If you are against a brawler like Rona or Krul, beating them to the Breaking Point will seal the deal with you winning the fights. Don't forget to pick up your Coat of Plates or Kinetic Shield! When the enemy gets a Coat of Plates, pick up a piercing spear to counter the counter (mind blown).

Work on getting Breaking Point stacks and stutter stepping. Focus down a target and Shiversteel them as you Vanguard yourself for shield and slow. If they get away then hit whatever is close to you for free BP stacks. DO NOT HIT A CATHERINE WITH HER SHIELD UP! Hit anything that is close to you and you will be 2 shotting people with 8-11 bp stacks. Tier 2 boots are more important than you may think. Will help stick to your targets even better.

Use your Gauntlet to trap your target while providing a wall for your ranged carry to stay behind for their protection.

If you are really far ahead don't be afraid to ditch the future Bonesaw for a Heavy Steel or Lucky Strike if they are not building any armor.

Late Game Top

Final builds always vary. If you've reached this point in the game, their are 2 things you must have. Breaking Point and Bonesaw. They of course will have armor and the fights are going to last longer. If they have a Joule or Glaive with no tier 3 attack speed item go Metal Jacket instead of Atlas. If you are having no trouble sticking to your target and are not getting kited, sell Shiversteel for Serpent's Mask, Fountain, or Crucible. Crucibles are awesome. The rest of the game is going to come down to decision making and positioning. Do your best to not get caught and to catch people in your Gauntlet. Good luck!
