Ardan Ardan can save carries from your ult with his shield and also trap you in the guantlet if you initiate too far ahead of your team. Make sure they are right behind you.

Rona Good initiations with into the Fray will allow you to pull off your ult before the enemy Rona, winning teamfights

Taka Takas burst damage will always be a problem. Always reflex block during your ult to make sure no one kills/stuns you and you can get full damage potential.

Ringo Watch out for fast, ranged, kitey heroes that will be able to avoid your ult and still deal damage

Catherine A quick silence from Catherine can prevent you from ulting. A quick initiation is key to prevent this from happening. And reflex block her stun

Weapon Power Attack Speed Rona Top

Rona uses bloodgrage to power all her abilities and can generate it either with basic attacks or hitting enemies with her Into the Fray and Foesplitter abilities. As a weapon power Rona in Teamfights you should be looking to use your Red Mist Ult (with its high weapon ration) to demolish the other team, especially their carry. However to activate the ability you need at least 75 bloodrage. Foesplitter bloodrage gain is 5/10/15/20/40, which does not bring us close enough. The best way to initiate is landing an Into the Fray on the entire enemy team. Though not specified, my experience is that you generate around 25 bloodrage for each enemy you hit. In addition, it deals collision damage, rupture damage 1 sec later and it grants you damage reduction based on the number of enemies hit. The rupture also slows down the enemy team and keeps them from scattering when you use your ult. If you only hit part of the team with your initiation, use the first part of Foesplitter to get past the 75 bloodrage mark and ult. Have a Reflex Block ready during your ult to stop any stuns/burst damage that will prevent you from using all your bloodrage. Serpent's mask will also keep you alive while you ult. Having boots on hand during your ult to catch a fleeing team is also useful, as you lose movement speed during it. If the enemy team manages to escape CANCEL your ult for the improved cooldown. With clockwork you can ult every 9 seconds with enough bloodrage, which can be twice in a teamfight.

One tricky item to counter is Atlas Pauldron. Like krul's weakness stacks, it will kill your attack speed, hurting bonesaw's armor shred and bloodrage generation. If this happens, try to ult ASAP as it will not be slowed.

This build is unconventional early game in that I buy two blazing salvos. Rona's heroic perk gives her an additional 50% attack speed, and for only 1400 you can buy an additional 70%. This combos well with her bloodrage, allowing you to use foesplitter very often. It also combos well with bonesaw, which is key for countering armor builds. If you have extra money, I also buy a shiversteel since it works so well with attack speed and will help you catch fleeing enemies.

Finally, for 1v1 fights you want to use your Foesplitter ability rather than your ult. Make sure you have as much bloodrage as possible before using the second half of the ability to maximize damage. The mortal wound perk is also great to countering teams/players who use lots of potions and fountain of renwal
