Threat Hero Notes
1
Alpha I find Alpha to be underwhelming in general. This one is probably biased but alpha has yet to give me a problem.
1
Phinn You are mobile enough to avoid his stun and drag. Watch for it and he is basically useless against you.
2
Joule If Cp Joule, dodge ult with B or C. If Wp, try to roll behind her often for higher damage and to make it harder for her to land her abilities.
2
Kestrel Keep directional shield on her and she isn't that much of an issue.
2
Ozo Can be hard to hit but doesn't seem to do much damage. Low priority.
2
Taka Not really an issue. If he tries to run and go invisible, just use your B to stop him and end him soon after.
3
Adagio His ult is easy to avoid with B and C. Be careful not to push his ult into teammates. Only really scary with a Saw or Ringo.
3
Ardan Gauntlet can be annoying since it gives you less space to maneuver than normal. Try to push Ardan out of his Gauntlet as soon as possible and not that big an issue.
3
Blackfeather Squishy enough to where if you can land a stun or a root he is basically dead.
3
Fortress Roam Fortress isn't a problem. Cp fortress can hurt a little bit. Wolves are easy to take down as lance.
3
Lance Against a Roam Lance should be fairly easy. Against another Wp Lance you will be basically evenly matched. A Cp Lance can be a problem with the longer duration of effects.
4
Catherine Watch out for chain stun comps and you should be fine.
4
Glaive Slippery. Shouldn't be too big of an issue but hard to kill.
4
Krul Can be nasty. As long as your Roam gets an Atlas Pauldron you will be fine.
4
Petal Petals can chip at you pretty good, but you can also kill her munions easily. Focus them and you are fine.
4
Skaarf Keep directional shield facing him and try to avoid Spitfires.
5
Celeste Can be pretty nasty to face if going lane. Pack some potions and you should be fine.
5
SAW Can give you problems early and mid game. Gank him in lane to lower his farm and you should be fine.
6
Koshka Do not waste your Reflex Block when against her. If her stun hits, your dead.
6
Rona Cp Rona is pretty good right now. She will hurt a bit. For Wp Rona be careful about clumping up.
6
Skye Hard to keep control of in a fight. Try to keep directional shield on her as much as you can.
7
Ringo Facing a Wp Ringo in lane will be nasty. Play extra safe against him. Cp shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as you block the ult.
8
Reim Hits behind you pretty hard. Either focus him with your team quick or avoid.
9
  No Threat
10
Vox Cp Vox is too good this patch. Focus him down as quick as you can.

1. Starting Items Top

Hear we build a Swift Shooter to help with his lack of attack speed making his clear a little better. His A also helps clearing fast but it's probably better to avoid a fight until your at least level 2 with Blazing Salvo, especially with highly mobile heroes such as Koshka. If you are doing this build in lane, grab a Book Of Eulogies first then continue onward. Sell later as you see fit.

2. Build Soon After Top

After getting the Blazing Salvo you can start playing more aggressive. Same goes with the Sprint Boots.

3. Work Toward Sorrowblade ( Defense As Needed No More Than 2 Defense ) Top

After getting the Blazing Salvo, leave it alone for a while and work towards a Sorrowblade. Start off going to the Heavy Steel. After getting this move into 1 or 2 defenses as needed. Don't build your defense higher than tier 2 for now though. After you have some defense you feel comfortable with, continue getting the Sorrowblade.

4. Build Salvo Into A Tornado Trigger Top

Here is where some real damage will begin. Finish building the blazing Salvo into a Tornado Trigger. Get Travel Boots along the way or after depending how badly you need them.

5. Finish Any Needed Defense Top

Here is a good time to stop and build at least 1 of your defenses you got to Tier 3. Build 1 of your defenses to Tier 3 and make sure you have the other at least to Tier 2. Make sure your defenses only take up 2 inventory slots before going onward.

6. Build Towards a Tyrant's Monocle Top

Next build towards a Tyrant's Monocle. I prefer building the Six Sins instead of the Lucky Strike. Here is a good time to be getting a Weapon Infusion if you haven't been getting them already.

7. Finish Building Top

Finish building the Tyrant's Monocle. Get Journey Boots as a last priority. If you have the gold for it and an infusion the get the Journey boots, else hold off, They aren't that necessary.

Thanks For Reading Top

Hey. I have been playing Vainglory for over a year now. I do like to watch and learn competitive play and adapt it to my own. I am a Roam main. Lane is my least favorite position. I have been playing Vain Glory since I got my iPhone 6+ in December 2014.

Please comment on my guide and tell me how much you like it ( or hate it ).
Add me in game if you want.
