Taka Whenever playing against this sucker stay close to your team or close to a turret if you can see him coming he is no treat
4
Ringo Ringo is more of an annoyance than a threat
4
Petal Petal minions should die pretty easily with Gift of Fire Never try to run from her since her minions have crazy long reach
4
Koshka If you can survive her initial burst you'll win every time
5
Krul Krul unless he gets close to you by surprise he has no chance against you just use Gift of Fire and then Agent of Wrath to get the upper hand always be on the look out for ambushes
6
Catherine Same with Catherine as with Glaive but at a lesser degree since her ability can be slowed by your Gift of Fire
6
SAW Saw is a sitting duck although it can be a nightmare at the begining of the game after he gains max stack flank him before he starts firing back
7
Glaive Since this build is focused on Crowd Control and max damage regardless of enemy defenses you only need to what watch out for his Afterburn

Intro Top

I made this guide to give a little more detail into one of the most versatile character in the game Adagio which people seem to underestimate a lot lately.
It may not be well done or glamorous but its has the info you need at least.

In This GUIDE: Which is complete at the moment ill try to finish it as soon as it finish doing all the testing
    Pure Crystal Crowd Control
    Pure Crystal 1 Vs 1
    Pure Weaponry
    Best Of Both Worlds

This build are to be used to complement the build of your teammates always have that in mind.

Basic Strategy Top

Start with Hourglass, Swift Shooter or Energy Battery (Depending on Build) and 4 Halcyon Potion keep in mind that we are trying to get the upper hand early game so going back to base is wasting time this should save you at least two trips. Avoid confrontations although is tempting to go for the kill unless it presents in a silver platter in front of you don't chase remember time is of the essence and you want to get the upper hand if by minute 15 you don't have at least 2/3 of the build you are gonna have a bad time catching up. Focus on farming let them know you as Adagio the Farm Boy is needed to get that build up as fast as possible. Travel only to the base when you are CRITICALLY LOW on BOTH LIFE AND CRYSTAL POWER. In a normal (17 To 30 Minutes) game you shouldn't go back to base more than 7 times.

Crowd Control Top

Pros
    Excellent Support
    Massive Area Damage
    Tide Turner
Cons
    Low Defense
    Can Be Countered By Aegis
    Sub-Par Damage in 1 vs 1

Start with Hourglass and go to the line save at least 1100 before leaving the line to get Chronograph and Eclipse Prism notice that unless you are being overwhelmed on the line Travel Boots wont be priority. Once again back to the Farm (Line) rinse and repeat until you have enough to buy Aftershock having secured the Aftershock you should consider buying Sprint Boots before going forward with Heavy Prism or Blazing Salvo If you are confident in your ability get Alternating Current before the boots it will give you an extra kick in battle against other players note that if you don't get the boots is recommended you don't venture into enemy territory alone since they will overrun you with ease. From here on the build depends on the enemy if they are going defensive start your Broken Myth ASP if they are going offensive crush their hopes with Shatterglass. Clockwork comes into play last since you already have a 25% cool-down from Aftershock

Entering fights: Watch for stuns since is your only downfall try to attack in this order as soon as you enter the fray Gift of Fire, then Verse of Judgement finish immediately with Agent of Wrath who ever swallows the whole combo is dead. Have fun and remember this specific build is not made for one on one, it is designed to support remember low defenses monstrous attack.

1 Vs 1 Top

Pros
    Excellent Tank
    Massive Damage
    Defense Monster
Cons
    Poor Support
    Can Be Countered By Aegis

First thing to notice on this build is that since you are playing vanguard you wont be able to use Verse of Judgement as often as with the other builds for that reason you wont be maxim it this time.
Start with Energy Battery and work your way to Crystal Bit stay on the line and focus on farming and staying alive for this build better safe than sorry. Rush to Travel Boots mobility is a priority in this build you need to be able to get out of trouble fast, once the boots are secured rush Frostburn for the same purpose you should have a mean punch by now, get Atlas Pauldron notice that this build is about controlling the flow of battle slowing down incoming attacks and enemies after that i recommend Aftershock immediately for the cold-down and life-steal effect get your Aegis after that to be able to tank for the whole team and last get Eve of Harvest. When the build is complete you should be able to take anyone one on one assuming you time well your defenses and don't get stunned to often.

Entering fights: Rush head first and intermediately activate Gift of Fire to force them to fight apply Agent of Wrath and get the upper hand Aftershock should help you intimidate with the extra chunk of damage if they flee fire Verse of Judgement
