Krul, the best hero in blitz. Top
The dominator, the life stealer, who wins all 1v1 duels in blitz. He can solo crystal miner with the first build, often the other team won't notice. Note that this guide is for blitz and probably works for battal royal, but most of the tips can carry in to casual or ranked. After the gold miner fight, which hopefully you win, I like to sneak down not very sneakily and take crystal miner. Also he can sneak in and get turrets. Once you have the
Breaking Point, you should provoke team fights, unless you're losing. If you are winning, go for the risky plays. If losing, try to take the gold miner.
Situational Items: Top
Build a
Reflex Block when things like gauntlets
Ardan or stuns
Catherine or
Nullwave Gauntlet keep biting you in the back. You can upgrade to an aegis if vs. cp, vs wp crucible. Build
Energy Battery when there tend to be intense team fights. This should give you the edge, and when that becomes an
Echo, then you can ult twice in team fights. If the enemies build armor, or one has an
Atlas Pauldron, then it is a good idea to build a
Bonesaw. If you're losing vs. lots of wp,
Metal Jacket. If losing vs. lots of cp,
Aegis. Also if you have a hard time gaining enough life and you feel like you fall just short, build a
Serpent Mask. Don't feel rushed to upgrade non-core items. Another funny item to try is
Stormcrown, run around the map getting objectives.
What works will with krul? Top
Items like
Flare Gun and
Contraption are very good with Krul. Also
Phinn and his b and ult can drag opponents closer to their doom (you).
Kestrel can help snipe with you for total domination.
Flicker helps you in chases, and if building cp your opponents can get cornered easily. You don't need other dominators/assasins, you need support. A
Petal who wants to shred opponents with munions is a little overkill, and stuns can destroy that plan. You also won't need heals, but most other heroes should help.
