FORTRESS Top

Overview Top

Fortress is a great Roam. He is able to initiate the fight and provide an extra boost to the damage done by the lane and jungle carry. In the build scheme above, I went through the different items I get and the order I typically get them. I did not include the Halcyon Potion, Flare Gun, or Scout Trap in the guide because those tend to be more situational.

Fortress is not designed to tank damage. His heroic perk Packmates allows him to jump into battles and escape to the edge when he is taking too much damage. If you use Fortress carefully and land his abilities, you can really add to the DPS from the laner and jungler.

In 1.14, the three wolves spawned from Attack of the Pack now require three auto-attacks to kill them. I have noted games where it is very difficult for the enemy to kill the pack wolves in time. Some heroes will even ignore them and will shortly be deleted, even Phinn.

Use my build more as a guide than as a start to finish instructional manual. There will be situations where you need to buy Atlas Pauldron or Shiversteel. Just be aware of the game as it progresses and you wil be fine.

Never forget that you are support. You have to be aware of your teammates in team fights and it is YOUR responsibility to provide healing from Fountain of Renewal or a clutch block from Crucible. This will make your role more effective. Allow your lane carry and jungle carry to dish out that damage once you hit the enemy with Law of the Claw

Koshka and Taka in jungle synergize well with this build, and especially with Skye in lane. Mobility is key.

I hope this short guide helps you bring down enemies on the Halcyon Fold!
