Threat Hero Notes
1
Fortress I didn't know it was hunting season already?
2
Krul Shouldn't be a problem. Don't let him smite you.
2
Vox Just your typical mage who can't do much when you're hidden.
3
Adagio His stun is easy to dodge, so don't get hit and you will be ok. Adagio won't be seen much solo, so try to eliminate him first to make teamfights easier.
3
Joule Just dodge his jump. You should be fine, and your A will allow you to dodge his B. Of course if you're hybrid his armor shouldn't be a problem.
4
Catherine She really can't do much until she gets her silencer.
4
Rona Same idea as Joule but she doesn't stun you.
4
Skye Easy to dodge her stun, but hard to catch.
5
SAW Honestly he's too slow to do anything, but watch out late game.
5
Ringo His slow can be annoying, as well as his high damage output.
5
Petal Only bad if they know how to use Petal. Otherwise ignore the Munions and attack Petal instead.
6
Taka Players who know how to use Taka can destroy you (or anyone else), but time your A and you should be fine.
7
  No Threat
8
Glaive Good players can scout you with his rocket leap, then stun you after.
8
Phinn Can scout you but so far I've never seen a Phinn used well.
8
Skaarf Can scout and slow, be careful. You can use your A to dodge the ult.
9
Ardan Don't run into his barrier, and don't get trapped in it either.
9
Celeste If she scouts you when you're in a box, you're done.
10
Koshka Stun + heavy crystal damage + spin that can scout you

INTRODUCTION Top

Hey guys, it's Criylon here. I'm new, but I've gotten a general feel for the game, so I don't mind criticism as this is my first build ever.

THOUGHTS Top

I totally based this off of PlayOffBeard's guide, but I have been a little more lenient with the items and decided to explore enough for a deadly hybrid combo. I've found Taka pretty easy to defend against when going only WP, and a bit more of a challenge when CP, but a true hybrid would be unstoppable, meaning no good armor set could defend against both (unless they had a Phinn with 6 Aegis). I suggest you explore with the items before you continue.

ORDER Top

Since I was asked, the order of which you buy the weapon items are completely of your own preference. I suggest you should become as familiar as possible with how Taka works, so that you will understand what works best for him.

I prefer to get either Sorrowblade or Tension Bow (usually ends up with bow), then two CP items, and then finally the other WP item.

WP Top

Sorrowblade: Simple enough. The biggest staple for any WP build.

Tension Bow: Good for first-hit Crit with ki-stacks.

Tornado Trigger: I personally don't see it useful without Sorrowblade or on this character in general, maybe with Alternating Current?

Bonesaw: Crush 'n grind their armor, except I have yet to use this item.

CP Top

Aftershock: Your leap should just be X-Retsu, meaning your first basic attack should be Crit, and with aftershock, bonus damage.

Alternating Current: Great with Shatterglass, Broken Myth, or Frostburn to add basic attack damage.

Shatterglass/Frostburn: Depends on slow or power, normally I run Frostburn to keep on a chase.

Clockwork: Staple for any character, but I feel that this is optional for Taka. It could be a situational item, your choice.

Broken Myth: Only good with Alternating Current. Don't use unless you want shield pierce.

THE MASTER STRAT Top

1. X-Retsu the enemy and land a basic attack
2. Use your A and another basic attack
3. Cling and kill unless more of the enemy show up hehe
