Threat Hero Notes

2
Adagio Squishy as a rubber duck. Burst him down and he won't even know what who got em. Don't get stunned by his ult
2
Celeste Squishy. Even squishier than Adagio. Jump scare her. Just do not get sniped by her ultimate when you're low on health
2
Skaarf Squishy. Mug em. Watch out for his ultimate and watch out for early game Fan the Flames.
3
Krul May the Krul with the better build win... and the better timing. Often activating your Smite earlier, before it reaches full stacks may be a good idea, so it is ready for another go, faster.
3
Petal Squishy, squishy, squishy. Watch out if she has eve of harvest. Watch out for her ultimate.
3
Vox Watch for his Resonance and don't get too cocky around Vox. Vox has some pretty decent burst damage.
4
Ardan Ardan alone is super weak, but he often jungles with another jungler and Krul CANNOT handle 2v1 fights. If Ardan builds super tanky, he can also delay you enough that his teammates arrive. Do not get caught inside his gauntlet, especially when he has support and you do not
4
Catherine Same thing as Ardan. She often jungles with others and can stall you until help arrives for her.
4
Fortress Tanky Fortress, again similar to Ardan and Cath. Watch out for Fortress' ultimate as well,
4
Glaive Tanky Glaive, same as Ardan, Cath, and Fortress. He often jungles with others and can stall you out.
4
Ringo Ringo is, in general super squishy, but he has super high damage output, especially if he gets some sorrowblades up. watch out for his high damage output. the longer the fight goes on, the higher your chances. krul is known for duking out super long fights; so as long as you survive the initial burst damage, you'll be good to go.
4
SAW You can easily handle WP SAW, just be a tiny bit cautious if he has a string of like 3 or 4 serpent masks going on. CP SAW may also be a nuisance.
5
  No Threat
6
Joule Watch out for her ultimate. The burst damage is really the only, but biggest danger to you. So, likewise, watch out for her overdriven thunder strike, cuz that stuff can crit... and burst is not good for you.
7
Koshka Dangerous burst damage. Make sure to get stacks up on her ASAP and also use your dead man's rush whenever she's about to use her abilities.
7
Taka Taka's burst damage is super scary. Scary ultimate. Again, like Ringo, survive the initial burst of damage from his Kaiten and his ultimate, and get stacks up fast, and you'll be golden.

Item Explanation Top

The Tornado Trigger is for you to get your Spectral Smite stacks up as fast as possible. Once you get the spec stacks and you get that lifesteal action going, pretty much nobody can duke out a long 1v1 against you. This entire build is based around getting spec smite stacks up ASAP and duking out long 1v1s.

Clockwork is essential so you can detonate spectral smite faster and activate Dead man's rush for that health barrier more often. The clockwork will also allow your ultimate to be up more reliably.

Breaking point... again, duking out super long 1v1 or long teamfights. The longer you're fighting and the longer you're using bp, the more stacks you get, and once you reach 20 stacks, you can pretty much shred through anything. 100% CRIT CHANCE AND DAMAGE, 300 BONUS WP. Nothing can touch you with full 20 stacks.

Aftershock adds that extra element of assassination to Krul. His burst damage and assassination become much better with an Aftershock. Also helpful when burning down Kraken and other jungle miners.

The boots will help you stick better to your opponent because Krul HAS TO be super sticky and up in his opponent's face to be effective. Honestly, travel boots should be the minimum you should be getting. Sprint boots simply aren't good at sticking to your opponent. Aim for late game Journey boots if you can.

Choose one of Aegis for anti CP or Metal Jacket for anti WP for higher survivability. It will ensure your survival in 1v1 and even keep you alive long enough in 1v2 for you to escape or wait for help.

Play style explanation Top

If the enemy team has only 1 jungler, you know what to do, GO FOR HARDCORE JUNGLE INVADE, HARASS ENEMY JUNGLER HARDCORE. JUST MAKE THAT LONE JUNGLER'S LIFE AS MISERABLE AS POSSIBLE. Yeah... Krul is the 1v1 king. So go for jungle invades, steal farm, and see if you can pull off some epic 1v1 kills.

If the enemy team has 2 junglers, be very cautious with the jungle invades and it would be even better if your fellow jungler accompanied you.

Go up to the lane for ganks often, and make sure you make the most of your "Shadow's Empower Me" perk. Wait for the perk to "load" and activate and make sure the enemy laner is overextended. Don't gank a laner on top of his turret. lol xD (i've seen some really dumb ganks during my time playing VG)

This whole build is focused around, long 1v1, or if you're super, super confident, long 1v2. Krul is the god of long 1v1 battles.

Hope this guide helped. If so, cool... :)
