Ardan Annoying, but not a problem. This guy will be hard to kill because he'll easily get away.
3
Adagio Annoying, but not a problem. This guy will be hard to kill because he'll easily get away.
4
Skaarf Not someone you should worry about, just make sure that you won't be kited around or attacked at the beginning. Also, if he's going crystal, do your best to dodge the spitfires. I pkay skaarf, and With one spitfire (near the end of the match) I dealt like a quarter-a third of krul's health.
4
Celeste Not someone you should worry about either, just make sure to not be kited and poked to death.
4
Fortress He can make you bleed, which slight lowers your healing boost.
4
Joule Quite easy to kill unless if you die before you throw down your smite.
4
Petal Pretty easy to kill, as long as she doesn't keep her distance to kite you.
5
Catherine Not very powerful, but don't use your spectral smite on her when she has her shield, or else you might kill yourself.
5
Rona Can deal a lot of dmg, but youcan kill her easily.
5
Vox Can deal quite a lot of dmg, kite, but if you stay close enough to hit him then he's dead.
5
Koshka Dealshigh burst damage, but is extremely squishy. Kill her first and she won't be a problem :)
6
SAW SAW can actually kill you, especially with spin-up at 12. He will be easier to kill if CP, but harder to kill if WP.
7
Taka A little harder to kill, just make sure you won't be dead before your stacks are at 8. Also, if he uses kaku before u use your spectral smite (and low in health), run.
7
Glaive Deals high burst damage. If your dieing, scram.
7
Ringo Also deals a lot of damage, and you probably won't get close to him becuase of his Achilles shot, and you'll get kited to death. Unless if your close enough to him, that is.

Krul When fighting the enemy Krul, it's pretty much just about how good your build is and who's better at playing Krul.

Introduction Top

So, you see Krul. Sometimes, when you see him, you've got that oh-my-gosh-I'm-gonna-die-run reaction, and sometimes you got that oh-cool-a-free-kill reaction. In this guide, I'll make sure that your enemies get the oh-my-gosh-I'm-gonna-die-run reaction.

Note: This is my very first guide, so sorry for the lack of photos and such, since I Still don't really get the BB Coding for some stuff. Also, sorry if some of the BB Coding messes up. But don't worry, I am sure that this guide will help you, so keep reading.

BASICS
Heroic Perk:
Shadows Empower me

Krul is empowered by shadows after standing still in a bush for for 3 seconds. Once empowered, he briefly gains 2 movement speed and his next attack will slow the enemy by 40% for 3 seconds.

Dead Man's Rush

Krul charges to the enemy once in range, and deals damage (duh). Once activated, it grants Krul a health barrier for 2 seconds. This move can only be activated if there's a target in range, and can go through walls.

Spectral Smite

Basic attacks and other abilities apply weakness for 4 seconds. Each stack reduces attack speed and crystal power by 10% and increases lifesteal. Every basic attack or other ability's stack will show ontop of the target's head, marked by small blue flames around a blue skull. At 8 stacks, which is the max stack, the skull will turn brighter.

When activated, Spectral Smite will deal tons of damage and will steal the target's health, depending on the number of stacks. After this is activated, all stacks will be removed.
I've noticed a lot of Krul players using Spectral smite as their first attack, which is not a very good idea. Use this ability after about 5 stacks or more if you want to deal more damage.

From Hell's Heart

Krul pulls Hellrazor, his sword, from his chest and throws it like a boomerang towards the targeted direction. If if this hits a enemy hero, on the way out or on the way back, they will be stunned, slowed, and damaged. It's stun duration is longer based on the distance it has traveled.

Items and their Uses Top

Tension Bow (change to Bonesaw Late game)

This item will help Krul give bursts of damage to finish em' off quicker. For bonesaw, you can slam down faster basic attacks and pierce through armour.

Tornado Trigger
This will give Krul his stacks for Spectral Smite much faster.

Journey Boots

This will be very helpful with running away, chasing, and getting to places faster of course.

Aegis Or Atlas Pauldron or Broken Myth

Since Krul is actually squishy, aegis and atlas pauldron will help block damage, crystal or weapon depending on enemy team's items, so he won't die so fast. If you're not dieing extrememly fast, get a broken myth instead to finish off enemies faster.

Aftershock or Sorrowblade

This'll help to deal more burst damage with the Tension Bow. Also, you can unleash your abilities faster thanks to this. If you don't think you need this, change it to sorrowblade.

Clockwork

I think you know what this does. If you don't, it accelerates your abilities' cool down and let's you unleash your abilities more often.

Beginning Top

At the start when you first spawn at base, buy a Swift Shooter and 2 Halcyon Potions, in case of early battles. Get Spectral Smite as your first ability. Head to the jungle camp with 2 big guys first. At 45 seconds, kill the first creep by hitting it 6 times, and then use Spectral Smite. Use your basic attacks to kill the other guy.
If there's another Jungler, and they haven't killed the other Jungle camp nearest to the shop, go there. If they have, move to one of the healing creeps (the Single big guy).
If there's no other Jungler, move to the Healing creep above, closest to lane, and then to the other healing creep, and then to the jungle camp nearest to the shop.
If there's a support, then just follow wherever the support goes. Also, LET THE SUPPORT TAKE THE CREEP'S DAMAGE. They got an ironguard contract for a reason! Anyways, go into the bush at the shop and buy a energy battery. You will probably be at least Lvl 2 now, so unlock your Dead Man's Rush ability. Then, using a extra boost of speed from your Heroic Perk, Shadows Empower me when you're in a bush, go back to the first Jungle Camp you killed. Repeat this process and get a Weapon Blade, and boots and then focus on getting the items in my "Early" Build at the beginning of this guide.

Mid-Game Top

After Lvl 6, you can go up to lane and help your laner every time From Hell's Heart is done "resting," I guess you could call it. Hide in the bush, and when the enemy is getting close to the bush, or whatever time you want (just make sure you won't be 2v1'ed), slow the enemy with Shadows Empower me, keep hitting them with your basic attacks, and then use Spectral Smite to finish them. If they run away, either use Dead Man's Rush or From Hell's Heart to catch up with them. Make sure to secure the Gold Mine when it is almost full, not at the very beginning when it first spawns. This way, you will collect 250-300 Gold, rather than like, 48. At other times, continue farming and repeat what you did at the Beginning to get the "Mid" Build at the beginning of this guide, Until Lvl 10-12.

Late-ish Game Top

When you get to Level 10-12, it should be around 15 Min into the game, when the Kraken should appear. Place Scout Traps at the corners of where it spawns if a teammate or you haven't already for vision. Get out of the Jungle, and go to lane, since the current only use of the Jungle is for healing and Gold. You should be on your way to the "Late" Build. You should be able to slaughter enemies easily, since you deal a lot of damage. You may die at times, but that's ok. When getting Shield/Armor, check the enemy team's items first. If there's more red, get Armor. More blue, get Shield. If you Ace the enemy team, hurry to the Kraken with your teammates. If you are the only one alive on your team, and the other team has 2 or 3 teammates, head to the bush beside the Kraken. The enemy team might head down there. Try your best to steal the Kraken.

Other Tips and Such Top

1.Always call a teammate to help you when fighting another Krul, especially at the beginning, unless if the Krul isn't as skilled you are. You should still call a teammate just in case.

2. You can actually get the Gold Mine Solo, though it is quite risky if a enemy comes and helps the Gold Mine kill you. If you successfully capture it, I'm pretty sure you will be at full health.

3. If you think you are really strong at the end you can even kill 3 people by yourself at the same time, don't even try. You're more squishy than you think.

4. You might not believe this, but you can literally get the kraken by yourself when you're almost done the "Late" Build, and keep you health pretty high when doing so.

5. If the enemy team knows that you're the strongest and/or a big deal on the team, then they will aim to kill you first in a team fight. Be careful!

Tips AGAINST Krul

In a team fight, you should focus on killing Krul first, not the other's, since Krul is probably their main damage dealer. Unless if the krul sucks. Like seriously sucks.

Don't try to 1v1 Krul. Especially at the beginning. Well, unless if the player who is playing Krul isn't very good at him (Using his Spectral Smite at the very beginning of a battle, having a weird item build etc.). Or you're Tala and you play him correctly against krul. Like use your kaku before krul uses spectral smite at full stacks.

Have some type of reflex block or aegis to block his From Hell's Heart to avoid being stunned.

If you are ALSO a Krul, you can acrually steal the enemy krul's Spectral Smite stacks using your spectral smite to steal Kraken (according to ShinKaigan, I haven't tried it out yet but it should work). For example, if Enemy-Krul has a full 8 stacks on Kraken, you can just Smite and use their stacks that they took time to hit as your own.

Finale Top

Thanks for reading my very first Guide, if you have any question or anything else to add please tell me. Also, if you could help me with BB Coding stuff (Ik there is a Guide but As I said I don't really understand some of it) please comment as well. I will add more stuff to this if something else pops up in my head that I forgot, of course. I MIGHT make a Skaarf guide as well.

For now, have fun (killing people... I guess) in the Halcyon Fold!
