General tips Top

I know that you may be thinking that the first item you get should be Serpent Mask as the lifesteal seems to be such an amazing idea early on but please - and trust me on this - the damage that you will deal using Serpent Mask as the first item won't be enough for the lifesteal to work properly. So get a Tension Bow first.
If you want to kill the Kraken you need to have Tension Bow, Serpent Mask, Aftershock so you can do enough damage. A Reflex Block would help in case you are ambushed by the enemy team and you are going to be stunned.
This build is very expensive but once you have it you will see how worth you saving gold is.

Ability use tips Top

I always use Into The Fray to escape from battles. However once you have Shatterglass this ability is very good for burst damage when entering team fights. You then can take out all of the enemy heroes using the first strike of Foesplitter to gain full bloodrage and then Red Mist to deal huge amounts of damage. The two Serpent Masks will give you lots of lifesteal so you become basically unkillable. However this can be dangerous if you are playing against Koshka or Catherine as they can stun you and then you would just die.
Also try not to use Into The Fray on jungle creatures as it has a long cooldown so when you need to escape you may not be able to.

Weapon items Top

You should always have Tension Bow which should be the first item that you buy. You should also be getting Serpent Mask as the third item you buy, the second being Travel Boots. You should have 3 weapon items in total so there is a choice coming depending on the situation. You should get Bonesaw if none of your teammates have armor pierce but only if you are against Krul or Catherine or if Fortress or Glaive have a Metal Jacket. You may also want to get it if you will be trying to take turrets which you shouldn't do without minions to take the turret fire although if their are two of you attacking the turret you can easily suvive while taking the damage. Otherwise you should get another Serpent Mask. The only time you should get Breaking Point is if you are often in team battles so the armor and weapon power can build up properly.

Crystal items Top

You should always have an item to reduce ability cooldowns to help you escape from battle with Into the Fray if you used it to get into battle. You should get Aftershock for the extra damage unless you need your abilities all the time when you should choose Clockwork which will also help your bloodrage charge up quicker. Try to get Aftershock though.

Defence items Top

I mainly play as an assassin so I like to get a Shatterglass because of the massive crystal ratios Rona has. In case you haven't realiesed quite his big they are, they add up to 550% if Into The Fray hits with the impact and the rupturing ground and you use both strikes of Foesplitter. However if you are playing against Koshka or Catherine you should get an Aegis in stead of Shatterglass to protect from the stun when you use Red Mist against all three enemies. Glaive can also stun you but he knocks you away from himself so you have some time to get away. Joule can stun you but most Joule players will just use Big Red Button instead of stunning you. Against them you should go for the Shatterglass rather than the defence.

Item Purchase Order Top

Assuming that you are going to buy the items from my favourites list you should try to get them in order. No matter what happens you should get the first three items. Then if you need more health get Aegis but otherwise leave it out and get everything else. And remember: you pay more gold per unit of what ever you are buying by getting a Tier 3 item than for a Tier 1 or 2 item so getting 2 Barbed Needles and 2 Heavy Steels will mean you can get more things quicker. Keep them this way as long as possible. At the start of a match though get Heavy Steel, Six Sins and a Barbed Needle before getting Tension Bow.
