2
Joule Use your sonic zoom to dodge her abilities. she can't do much to you unless she has full thunderstrike stacks. Don't get stunned or she'll blast your face off.
2
Ringo Use sonic zoom to shoo him out of the lane. you can take him on 1vs1 most of the time because of your lifesteal.
3
Krul You can kite him, and the silence of your ultimate screws him up badly, but he can kill you if you're not careful.
3
Celeste She can greatly outrange you so be carefull of heligenisis spam. When she is behind a turret, you can't really touch her but in teamfights, you can kill your sister easily.
3
Skaarf Similar to Celeste. Watch out for his ult and dodge his spitfire and you'll be fine. Kill him when you see a great opportunity.
4
Catherine On her own, she is just like Joule, but if she stuns you while with an ally, you will probably die. Silence her before she silences you!
4
Petal Her range is far better than yours, and she is generally annoying to face. However, resonance bounces between her pets and you can escape her ult with sonic zoom.
4
Adagio He can annoy you with his heal in lane. Be sure to get last hits to gain some health back from his burn with your lifesteal item. Don't let him catch you with his slow or you will be in a bad position.
4
Ardan Your father never dies! He forces you to buy a reflex block and he can tank hits like no other. He can't really do that much to you but if he traps you, it's over.
5
Vox Threat level depends on his build. you'll win most of the time against crystal builds. Against weapon builds the most skilled player usually wins. focus him in teamfights, vox is dangerous.
6
Koshka I use vox as a laner (this build can also work in the jungle though) and Koshka can't do that much to you there, just sonic zoom to your turrets as soon as she pounces at you. If she finds you alone in the jungle though, you'll be dead.
6
SAW He can outrange and you can't do anything to him without a teammate with a stun. Focus him in teamfights and avoid him in the lane.
7
Taka He kills you fast but can't do much to you in the lane. Try to silence him so he can't escape in his box and if he does manage to escape, reveal him with your B ability. Always have teammates around when fighting Taka.
8
  No Threat
9
Glaive Glaive is terrifying. He can afterburn you into unfavorable positions and he kills you in seconds. He can also tank some hits from turrets so always be careful. Get away from this guy or he'll kill you.

Introduction Top

I have been playing Vainglory for quiet some time now and I decided it was time for me to make a build. This is my first build, so it might not be the best. Also, sorry if my English is bad.

I always enjoyed playing Ringo and Celeste, but then came Vox. He is like the perfect mix between a sniper and a mage and I loovvvee playing him. He is so strong and flexible. After some testing, this is the Vox build that got me the most kills. I hope you like it. (:

Final build: item explanation Top

Journey Boots: boots are necessary for any character but they're especially important for vox. Vox is one of the best chasers in the game with his high mobility and A ability. When your team dominates a teamfight, but one low health enemy tries to escape, use your boots to catch up with him and kill him off with a tension bow boosted sonic zoom. This is your main way of killing so be sure to upgrade into travel boots when you have enough gold.

Serpent Mask: this item gives you health back when you attack minions or enemy heroes. It also gives you more damage output. With this, you'll be harder to kill and it saves you potions and farming time (you don't need to go back to your base so that's why it saves you time).

Tension Bow: tension bow is solely for burst damgage. the bonus damage works for your sonic zoom so you can aggressively dash into enemy heroes and shoo them out of the lane. Always be careful when doing that though, as a stun or assassin can screw you up.

Sorrowblade: It drastically powers up your basic attacks and sonic zoom. It also works well with Serpent Mask because you get more health back with every attack. It just helps in killing things, which is your main job.

Tyrant Monocle: sonic zoom's attacks are treated as basic attacks, which means they can crit. It further increases your damage output and gives a nice crit chance for more burst damage. Be sure to replace it with a Bonesaw if the enemy is building armor, or against annoying Catherine and Joule.

Defense Item: It is necessary to stay alive so you can beat up enemies so you should build at least one defense item. depending on the enemy team, build either Crucible, Aegis or Metel Jacket. Start building it when you feel like you need it. Against easy or necessary to dodge ultimates like Ringo's or Ardan's, always get a reflex block and build into Crucible or Aegis accordingly.

Energy Battery: buy it as soon as you can. Vox is vulnerable without energy because he can't use sonic zoom to escape from dangerous things like assassins and you also can't mark enemy locations or apply resonance with pulse. an Energy Battery and lifesteal item keep you healthy so you have enough time to farm in the lane (or jungle, personally I prefer the lane though). Sell it if you need room for a defensive item.
