Introduction: Why WP? Top
Adagio is one of the oldest hero in VG, yet he never seems to get any attention...people just don't generally play Adagio any more.
As much as I love playing Roam or CP Adagio, WP is insanely fun. What makes this work so well is that Adagio's attack speed can ramp up pretty high to do significant amount of damage, and his
Gift of Fire and
Agent of Wrath just makes him so much more survivable and powerful. I'm not saying WP is always better than CP, but WP is a lot of fun to play, I mean c'mon! Its basically a SAW with higher mobility, self heal, damage boost, and AOE nuke. It's a legit strategy, I swear!

General Playstyle Top
Follow these golden rules!
1. FARM FARM FARM! Tornado Triggers aren't cheap! You should try getting 10 minions per minute in the Lane!
2. Watch for those early/mid game ambushes. Get vision, or make your teammates get vision. This build is extremely vulnerable to surprise burst damage
3. Watch your enemies for
Atlas Pauldron. If they try to get close to you to use it, tear them apart!
4. Remember to use your
Agent of Wrath! It's extremely powerful!
5. Remember that you can use your
Gift of Fire to slow melee enemies targeting you, then kite them down.
6.
Serpent Mask saves lives! Literally, this thing will keep you alive! Please get it right after your first
Tornado Trigger!
7. Learn to stutter step if you lack attack speed in early game.
8. Try not to engage first, let your Roam/Tank attract their attention and burst them down when they are distracted.
9. Your
Verse of Judgement is not that helpful, most of the time it can get you killed if you just stand there.
Specific Counters Top
: Really, this guy will be your greatest enemy. Burst damage is fatal for this build. And any good Taka will target you first. Make sure you have vision and carry a few flares if your teammates won't. When he uses his
X-Retsu on you, the safe way to play is to heal yourself with
Gift of Fire and Boots away, especially for a CP Taka. But if you catch a Taka targeting a team mate or not paying attention...hehe. Remember! A distracted Taka is a dead Taka!
: I use Lance here to basically represent all tanks (yeah, yeah I know I'm stereotyping, I know WP Lance exists...). Besides, Lance is one of the easiest Hero for you to deal with, even if he hits you with
Impale, you can still destroy him. Any tank really, will get shredded (literally in the case if you are carrying a
Bonesaw), it's like building free
Breaking Point stacks! But do be wary of some Tank's abilities that can be problematic, such as
Phinn's
Quibble (if he overdrives it) and
Forced Accord and
Ardan's
Gauntlet.
