Hello everyone, my name is BlueLycan, this is my first build so if you have any ideas, please comment.

Now, let me present you a flexible hero which can use for 3 primary roles in this game: Adagio. But, in this build, I just focus on the Laner Role.

Pros:

+ Survive 1v1 combat against enemy's laner.
+ Does a surprising amount of damage.
+ Hard CC and ability to protect himself alone.
+ Lanes well vs enemies laner.

Cons:

+ Damage may not enough in late game.
+ Die easily when ganked.
+ Shooting range is not long.
+ Easily to be taken down.

First of all, why do you want to pick Adagio for Laner?

Adagio is a flexible ranged hero, he has 3 skills: heal & damage, increase basic damage and burst damage while increase defense. By his 2nd skill, you can she that he can lane easilly and by healing, he can survive against almost squishy heroes like: Celeste, Ringo, or even SAW.About the team, Adagio is not created to be a laner, so tell your teammates to gank frequently. About you, remem ber to buy Scout Trap to prevent ganking from Jungler or Roamer. Pick Adagio when you feel that your team is lacked of Crystal Damage, prevent enemies from increasing Armor. Like the other laner, players need to master some of Laner Abilities to master him.

Player abilities required:
1. Last hit: player must to carefully aim and last hit minions to gain gold.
2. Reduce laner's HP: hide in a bush and when enemy's laner last hit, shoot him to reduce his HP.
3. Fast reaction: choose the right hero to heal or damage increase: you or your jungler.
4. Location: find yourself a spot for you to run away from taking damage and freely deal damage to enemies.

Arcane Renewal

Whenever enemies burning with Arcane Fire take damage from any source, Adagio regenerates 20% of that damage as energy.
Damage-To-Energy Ratio: 20%


Comment: This skill is used to regenerate Energy from farming, so if you want to maintain your mana, aim your Gift of Fire and keep dealing damage to enemies who are burning. You need to use this on creeps to keep your energy at a safe level.

Gift of Fire

Adagio heals a target ally and splashes Arcane Fire onto nearby enemies, dealing damage every second. If Adagio targets himself, he'll also slow nearby enemies by 70% for 1.5 seconds.

Comment: This skill has a lot of effect: heal, deal damage to all enemies nearby, slow and can turn on the passive to regenarate Energy. In the early game, you should aim and cast this skill to an ally minion to deal damage to the most minions as you can. Although the range of effect is small (2 cm radius? Maybe), It can be squishy when in combat.

Agent of Wrath

Temporarily increases target ally's basic attack power for 6 seconds. Deals 50% more damage to enemies burning with Arcane Fire. If Adagio targets himself, deals an additional 20% more damage.

Comment: This skill is used to raise basic attack so if you want to maximize it's effect, you should cast on ally heroes who depends on Basic Attack than skills like Krul, SAW,... But in this build, you should cast on YOURSELF to improve your basic damage. If Ringo wants to 1v1 you, this skill will make you win the battle.

Verse of Judgement

Adagio channels for 2 seconds then deals grievous damage to all enemies in a wide, rune-marked ring around him. Enemies burning with Arcane Fire are also stunned. While channeling, Adagio temporarily has +50 Armor & Shield.

Comment: another flexible skill for Adagio. If you has Gift of Fire enemies by cast on yourself, they will be slowed and you can use this skill to deal burst damage with stun effect to eliminate them.This skill can also be used when the enemies are focusing you. Just Gift of Fire and then Verse of Judgement and you can turn the tide of the battle since Verse of Judgement will raise your defense for 2 seconds and you will be a stone wall in that time when your allies deal damage to them.

Combo for Adagio is quite hard to master.

Normal Combo:
First you need to approach enemy hero (can turn on boots) -> Basic Attack -> Gift of Fire to CC him -> Basic Attack -> Agent of Wrath -> Normal Attack until he or you die.

Ganking Combo:
Agent of Wrath -> Normal Attack -> Running to enemy -> Gift of Fire -> Normal Attack.

Full Combo when achieve LV6:
Normal attack -> Running to enemy -> Gift of Fire -> Normal Attack -> Verse of Judgement -> Agent of Wrath -> Normal Attack.

Retreating:
Normal Attack -> Gift of Fire -> Normal Attack -> Verse of Judgement -> RUN!!

Petal: use Gift of Fire to kill her minions and slow her down, then keep attack until she dies.
Adagio: try to make a distance so he can't use Gift of Fire on you. After he missed Gift of Fire or Verse of Judgement, payback, Gift of Fire him and eliminate him.
Celeste: dodge her skills, Gift of Fire her and eliminate her. If you get hitted, Gift of Fire will heal you.
Ringo: try to deal damage to him as much as posible. Wait for ganking or he come to you -> Gift of Fire -> Blast him. Remember to Gift of Fire yourself while he use ulti on you.
SAW: Gift of Fire minions to deal damage to him. If he had charged his passive, wait for gank and payback.
Skaarf: dodge his Fireball and keep dealing damage to him. Remember to Gift of Fire him to slow him down.
Vox: this hero is verry annoying. By his 2nd skill, you can't easily Gift of Fire him. He can also jump around you dealing damage and because your shooting range is short, it's hard to take him down. You can't use Verse of Judgement since he will jump out of range.
Conclusion: Wait for gank!

Flexible AD

- First, I recommend this build for you because it's an easy build, and even a noob can master it easily after 2-3 battles. Second, this build is made to deal with laners, you scare their laners? Then use this build, you can kick them out of combat any times. Just don't let their laners to greeny.
- If you looking to the Skill Build, you will find that I upgrade both Gift of Fire and Agent of Wrath. Why? Because using this build, you need to maintain safely between basic damage and your healing, so upgrade them both is the best! Ulti upgrade when available.

Full AD

- This is my favourite build, since you build Adagio like this, his defense is verry weak so you need to stand behind your allies and deal damage. This build makes Adagio hard to play but it also make him finish the laners verry fast every 3v3 combat. So if you think you have mastered the Flexible AD Build, try this!
- If you looking to the Skill Build, you will find that you need to upgrade Agent of Wrath to max level as soon as possible because you build him Full AD means that basic damage is everything! Ulti upgrade when available.

Semi AD-Tanker

- This build is the hardest build in this guide. Because you don't have much damage, you can't finish the laners quickly as you want but this build works great when you need something more tanky and strong in combat to deal with Ardan or Glaive. When using this build, you are hard to die so remember to focus enemies' laner first! And you need to harass the enemies' laner hard by using minions to make them hard to farm.
- If you looking to the Skill Build, you will find that I focus on Gift of Fire. Since your damage is not high, you can die by enemies so healing is now more important! Ulti upgrade when available!

In the early game, play safe. Tell your team not to rush to the enemy's jungle to steal. Carefully farming while reducing enemy's laner's HP. While farming, you can use Gift of Fire to easily last hit if 3 or more minions are in low health or you want to directly deal damage to enemies. If your jungler is ganked, help him. Casting Gift of Fire on him so he can retreat safely. If your team want to gank, atleast wait until you achive lv2 so you can do skill combos. If you need to go home, remember to buy Scout Trap to prevent being Ganked and Halcyon Potion to heal yourself when your teammate need your heal than you.

At mid game, your team and enemies team will try to take the middle minion mine so watch the minimap carefully to gank or defense from gank. If your team score an ACE or kill 2/3 enemy hero, heal your jungler and tell him to take over the minion mine. At mid game you will already achieve lv6 so remember to trigger Verse of Judgement after using Gift of Fire. If you aim carefully, you can Gift of Fire 3 of them.
If your team engage in a 3v3 battles, remember to use the combos I have listed in the top. Watch your team carefully to decide who you should use Gift of Fire. You can use Gift of Fire to heal ally or try to deal damage to all enemies heroes to Verse of Judgement. It's depend on the situation.

Now, it's time to kill Kraken and bring down enemy turrets. If you use the Semi - AD Tank Build, it will be hard for your team to take down Kraken since you can't deal much damage. So instead of that, stay at the bush while dealing damage, place Scout Trap to see the enemy and slow them, stun them by using your combo until Kraken has been taken. You can also use your Verse of Judgement to steal the Kraken so watch your timing. When your team is ready to bring down turret, go! Remember that you can use skill on turret so keep use Gift of Fire to deal damage to turrets. Don't use Verse of Judgement to deal damage to turrets because it's a waste.

Friends:
Since you deal a lot of damage using Agent of Wrath and your HP and MP always can be healed, you can protect yourself. So what does Addagio need? He need someone to eliminate enemies when the Agent of Wrath effect last, and these are...

+

Catherine: She is great for all heroes. She can stun enemies to make you hit few more times or she can buy time for you to channel ulti.
+ Taka: Perfect while working with Adagio, he can turn invisible to last hit the hero even they use boots to run away.
+ Koshka: another great ally for Adagio, she can stun enemies for 2 secs so you don't need to CC enemies to use ulti.
+ Ardan: what is more perfect than you can shoot from afar and nobody can touch you?
+ Glaive: he can knockback enemies to you so even Vox can't dodge your slow. Happy slowing!!

Foes:

+ Fortress: all heroes in Halcyon Fold hate him. He can increase speed, casting slow, reduce healing and even he isn't buy any weapon, he can still deal lots of damage each 6 secs.
+ Catherine: She is the 2nd heroes all heroes hate.
+ Taka: You can heal? Oh no, I will finish you off before you do that!
+ Koshka: Don't dare to use ulti on me, I will stun you if you dare!
+ Krul: My ulti will stop you channeling, and please, even you deal lots of damage, I deal more damage than you!
