Threat Hero Notes
1
Petal Easy kill, burst her down and don't use ult until she uses her jump.
1
SAW A sitting duck. Rush Burst Slow Smite. Save ur ult for when he tries to get away with roadie run. Do not let him get ahead in the game and burst him down in fights.
2
Celeste Celeste is one of the few laners who have stun. Do not get caught in her stun and use Reflex block if necessary
2
Vox Easy kill with rush burst slow smite. However his side stepping technique is not one to underestimate and has low cooldown. Try to gank as soon as he used it in lane. Buy reflex block and always try to pressure him to avoid build up later on.
3
Blackfeather The only equal in terms of early game weakness to Krul. He will usually focus on farming just like you in early game. Do not let him get advantage over you, early game raid and item superiority are suggested ways to beat him down. Use your ult's stun to stop him from getting away with his ult. Watch your heartthrob stacks.
3
Fortress Fortress is one of the less bulky supports out there. However he is a formidable opponent early game so keep an eye out and burst him down late game. Tends to come in a package deal with Koshka. Do not go for supports first.
3
Ringo Rush Burst Slow Smite. Don't let him kite you fight if possible.
4
Adagio Watch out for his ult and slow. Do not go for him first, rather finish off the laner and jungle prior.
4
Rona Rona's lifesteal is almost in par with that of Krul's. Buy Atlas and health items to establish upper hand
5
Ardan His gauntlet can be either in your favor or against. Play it safe against him and dont get caught in his ult or vanguard. If you get skilled enough try to stun him before he uses his ult. Don't go for supports first.
5
Glaive Burst him down. Glaive usually has a pretty bulky health even without health items which helps it kill squishies but remember you can stand against him by wearing him down with burst and smite. If he goes for attack speed, consider buying atlas pauldron. Watch out for his stun.
5
Joule Her Rocket leap is your main concern. Move around her when building stacks and don't stay for her ult.
6
Catherine Do not Smite when she has stormguard up. Watch out for both her stun and ult silence and do not go for supports first.
6
Phinn This big guy is not one to mess with early game, he can take out half your health in 1 blow. His slow is his biggest weakness so burst him down late game
7
Kestrel Watch out for her A's range hits and her B's stuns. Remember any Krul's biggest weakness is being burst down.
7
Krul May the Best Krul Win. Burst Krul usually gains upper hand against Breaking Point Krul early on. Smite as soon as the stacks hit 8. Remember you are CP so you don't play by normal Krul rules.
7
Taka Taka's biggest friend is his element of surprise. Take it away and he's a plain old squishy. Be careful of being burst down early game and buy scouts, flares, and get to shiversteel as soon as possible
8
  No Threat
9
Skye The hardest to slow and target, Skye's abilities and perk allow her to get fast pursuit and better positioning. Do not go directly against her barrage and always assume she will use suri strike to reposition herself. Save your ult for her.
10
Koshka Her power comes in her early game form. I highly advise building shield and avoiding her early game. Place scout traps if necessary.
10
Skaarf The cute little flamethrower of death. Arguably the best counter for Krul. Watch out for his perk and dont linger too long near him. If you are planning on ganking make sure to get a stun or slow and be careful of his goop puddles. I suggest buying aegis and focusing on attack output since his perk is based off of your health.

CP Krul Introduction Top

Have you ever wondered if Krul has another build path besides the old Breaking Point tactic? Do you find it difficult to counter Atlas Pauldron even with a Reflex Block? Whether you are new to the game or a veteran at POA this build is sure to bring out the otherside of Krul and appeal to all Krul Lovers.

How To Play CP Krul Top

This Build does not focus on Krul's Attack Speed Output and Breaking Point damage. Instead we bring put Krul's Burst capabilities with the all time classic Aftershock combined with Stickiness Shiversteel Frostburn to draw Broken Myth potential and finish off enemies with a single smite.

Depending on both your team's stun availablity and the mobility of the enemy team, you can choose between either going for Frostburn to increase your Crystal InfusionCrystal Power stockpile and the extra stickiness or Alternating Current which gives extra burst crystal damage in basic attacks. Either way the goal is to stick to the opponent while bursting them down with Aftershock and at the same time building Broken Myth Stockpiles.

Item Build
Start: Swift Shooter , Halcyon Potion x2

First stop at jungle shop: Swift Shooter , Oakheart , Hourglass

Lvl 4-5 ish
Shiversteel , Blazing Salvo , Chronograph, Eclipse Prism
*Remember that Shiversteel is priority unless early game invade disadvantage or heavy health oriented team Phinn SAW Joule. In that case go with Aftershock first

Lvl 6
Shiversteel , BlazingSalvo , Aftershock

*At this point enemies should have already set up their build's core. These items are to be bought alongside the core items:
If the enemies are attack speed oriented, buy Light Armor and build into AtlasPauldron or Metal Jacket and Crystal Reflex Block build into Aegis
-If the enemy is Ability Dependent or contain stuns such as Celeste Vox Catherine Ardan buy Reflex Block

Lvl 7-9
Shiversteel , Blazing Salvo , Sprint Boots , Aftershock, Heavy Prism, Piercing Shard
* Also continue to build items started at lvl 6

Late Game 15min + :
Shiversteel , Alternating Current/ Frostburn , Travel Boots, Aftershock , Broken Myth
*If the other team has heroes that are not easy to stick to Skye, Vox, etc then get Frostburn
*IF the other team has heroes that have high health such as Phinn Glaive then get Alternating Current for bonus crystal burst damage.

Tips:
-Do not roam carelessly early game. Remember you are weakest early game. Get the support to buy scouts or place them yourself to prevent early game invades.
-Keep a scout trap around in case a team fight breaks out early game. You never know when it can save your life. Synergize it with your perk to place it in the heart of the fight
-Stay in the brush before ganks or teamfights to power up Shadows Empower Me.
-Do not use the slow on Shiversteel right away, use it when the enemy is trying to escape.
-Try to use your ult to hit on its way back for a longer period of stun
-Save the ult only for chases or securing kills. Use wisely
-If you get Atlas Pauldron Slow early on in the fight, move away from the fight into a bush, get Shadows Empower Me then return to continue the Fight. Meanwhile the lane and support should play it safe, fake a retreat, and lure the enemy away from their jungle.
-When playing CP Krul Don't forget that you don't play by the regular rules. So smite if you are able to kill the enemy at 8 Stacks and remember the bonus crystal power only strengthens Spectral Smite
