First, Catherine should'nt be recommended to level in the jungle, its much easier to gain levels, gold and her special ability to gain 1 shield and armor while useing the skill ''Merclies Pursuit'' in the lane, she also should've been discribed as ''roam'' because if you will use my method you will be the fastest character almost 70% of the time, you will be able to be support both lane and jungle, thats bring me to the next thing i love about Catherine, she's the BEST supprot \ tank \ guardion you could've ask for, in the first few mintues of the game she can reach any fight lain or jungle in about few sec before the battle end, not once i saved a team member from death by stunning and running.
Catherine isnt just a protector or support, what i think is the best about Catherine is that she can lure players to chase her, while she almost cannont be defeated by pursuit she can stun and lure the enemy into an ambush very easliy, method that i use every game with 99% success rate.
Catherine has many talents and skills probably most of you dont know how to use.
When we are choseing Catherine to play with ?
we only choose to play Catherine when the other two team mates didnt chose another support character.
OR !!
if there is'nt another lane character !
Few character that dont go well with Catherine are : Petal, Fortress, Ardan, Adaigo.
The reason behind the threats monitor is that even in a fight of 3 vs 1, Cathrine still should be able to run away and there isnt a single character that can defeat or pursuit Catherine long enough to kill her.
the only reason Catherine should die is when :
1. Catherine sacrificeing herself so a team mate can gain 2 kills atleast
2. Catherine sacrificeing herself when u fight to relase the kraken (kraken cant kill Catherine and also the tower cant, only in the first few mintues)
3. Catherine lure and discract the enemy when you're team mates realeseing him.
4. when u try to save the match from been'ing deafted even if you're in a situation of 3 vs you.
Catherine should most of the time walk infront of a team mate and and be in a radius so a team mate can reach you very quickly.
he first item that Catherine should buy is ironguard contract and 2 potions.
the next time that you will see the store is when u reach 1,000 gold or if u need to withdraw to get health points (death is not an optioin, if you died quit playing Catherine, seriously you dont know how to play with her if you die more than 7 times in a match even when you are defeated)
the next items will be to the boots, we will buy all 3 boots in a row one after another its critical for Catherine role as a support to be able to help every team mate lane and jungle very quick.
now you're inventory should be ironguard contract and Journey Boots, the next item will be Clockwork you can buy the items in any order u think depends on how the match goes.
the next item you should buy is Contraption (the ring) which is the best item for the 15 mintue when the karken appear and you can mark the tall grass where other players hide.
the next item after those 3 (core items), you buy depends on you're enemy characters, if they have enough damage to threat you, you should buy Atlas Pauldron and Metal jacket the order of buying them is depends on how fast is you're enemeies (check thier items and if they have journey boots buy atlas pauldron first)
if they have low damage you should buy Sorrowblade and Warhorn.
So we are in the 15 mintue to the game, the kraken appears and both team is hideing.
what you do next ?
you use you're Contraption to reveal them, next you use the skill Blast Tremor to slience the enemies (they wont be able to use there skills) then you chose the weaked character and stun him.
this method will give you the edge to release the kraken even if you're in the loseing team.
