Threat Hero Notes
1
Celeste Celeste is... Really squishy. Overall I don't really like her, but fortress is definitely a hard counter as long as you can keep close.
1
Kestrel Stealth isn't a thing against fortress. Use those wolves and catch her, she's innately slow.
1
Petal Lol. You can do it, SEMC. You can fix Petal. I believe.
1
Taka Stealth. Is. Not. A. Thing.
2
Phinn High health? Really slow? A meal for fortress. But in team fights late game, watch for the drag and barrier. Not a threat alone, like you with no ult.
3
Adagio He can kite you, but over all he's a little bit potato tier and your burst is insane. Avoid early game though.
3
Ardan A bit spooky. The gauntlet is annoying but his high health pool will dramatically hurt him late game.
4
Fortress If he's CP aswell then who cares? You're OP as well, don't worry, if he's tank just target someone else. Crisis avoided.
4
Ozo Not sure about this guy yet. Overall his lack of escape seems to be a bit of a drawback. However, sometimes a skilled ozo can seemingly jump across the whole map smh.
4
Rona Ehhh she's still not too strong, but you can't deny that her ultimate hurts, a lot. Just use your speed to your advantage!
5
Glaive Early mid game he is probably the biggest threat in the whole game, avoid him then, but his large health pool (the largest, I believe) is a major set back.
5
Krul Krul is annoying in general, but the mortal wound part of fortresses wolves affects him harshly.
5
SAW He's a spooky lane enemy but apart from that? He's essentially useless outside of the lane, unless he's shank saw. Jesus I hate shank saw.
5
Skye She's fast, she makes you slow. Not a nice combo, but non the less an easy meal.
6
  No Threat
7
Joule If she's crystal power then no one really stands a chance, but a weapon joule deals significantly less damage, just avoid the stun in general.
7
Vox Late game his damage is significant, but a co ordinated burst attack will delete him (if he doesn't delete you).
8
Blackfeather Probably your spookiest enemy. His two charges of his immunity can dodge your bleed and land basic attacks on your wolves. Buy warhorn and chase him.
8
Ringo If you go against him in lane, a skilled ringo will make your cs, like, -1 but it's ok, just ping your allies to tank.
8
Skaarf Also hard to lane against, but don't worry, since he is ability based he can't basic attack your wolves without significantly reducing his damage in a team fight.
9
Catherine Spookiest enemy #2. That shield will deflect so much damage, wait for it to be down and in general don't attack her with her shield.
9
Reim Reim is a thing. He has a constant barrier and completely slows you, like, constantly. Don't 1v1 and move around super fast.
10
Koshka THE SPOOKIEST OF THEM ALL. Wolves give her bonus stacks of proc attacks in combat, however, you're op, so, who cares?

Hi, i'm steamy from the EU server, and i'm an SA Silver Koshka main. However, recently I've noticed a CP Fortress arising, so I thought I would make a guide. Let's get to it.

Fortress's Abilities
Packmates Truth of the Tooth Law of the Claw Attack of the Pack
When fortress is near an allied hero, he will move faster after one second. He will maintain this move-speed as long as he is near any allied hero. Fortress marks the target enemy as prey and his next basic attack becomes a short-range lunge. Fortress and allied heroes gain lifesteal when attacking marked targets and gain move speed when moving towards them. Fortress claws his target and causes it to bleed. Bleeding targets take 25 (15% CP ratio) as damage every second. Attacks from Fortress and his allies increase bleeding by one stack. Upon reaching six stacks, the target is dealt a burst of damage and recieves a mortal wound. Fortress howls, gaining increased health and calls to him a pack of wolves. These wolves seek out enemy heroes. Additionally, these wolves do small damage with their basic attacks and apply bleed.
This allows Fortress to be EXTREMELY sticky during fights. Fortress is generally unpeelable, but you will be rewarded greatly if you manage to kite him as he isn't actually too tanky.
This is Fortress's only gap closer. use this to mix in some basic attacks with your abilities in order to maximize bleed stack potential and procs.
This is where the damage is. Overdrive this first, but take a point in truth of the tooth at level one as it allows for escapes if you can jump to a minion.
A 1v1 with Fortress? More like a 4v1. Use your ultimate whenever you feel like fighting and watch your enemies melt with bleed after bleed. If used properly, if only one enemy is alive, in the late game all three wolves can target the same person and kill them. This is why I get frostburn, because the wolves can apply a slow!

Pros and Cons to Fortress

Pros
Fortress is by far the fastest hero, and is not easily kited.
He has massive amounts of damage potential. like, no kidding.
Extremely hard to beat in teamfights, especially if he has his ultimate available.
He's actually fairly strong early, but with CP he has an evident power spike mid to late game.

Cons
Is rather weak alone, and without his ultimate.
*Furiously tries to think of cons to Fortress*
HE CAN BE KITED, kind of, not really. Good luck against a CP fortress.

Generic Strategy Tips

At level one in the lane, you are very easily bullied. Due to this, I buy flares instead of potions as a eulogies acts as a substitute. Use this to bait your enemy laner into a sense of security. Much like when i play lane Koshka, after your first shop and your level 2 it's an immidiate powerspike and a kill on the enemy laner. Here's some ability combos.
Ability combos

A common combo, for max burst, is > Basic Attack > , this allows for tons of damage in a short period.

Fortresses only other real combo, for when a gap must be closed, goes like this - > , this closes the gap before landing the crucial bleed.

All of Fortresses combos can be followed by his ultimate.

Well, that's all for now. More in-depth guidance on how to play Fortress will be coming soon.

Also, please mess around with heroes and the meta. CP Fortress, Piercing shard joule, and tank skaarf wouldn't have been found without it and they're the strongest things to ever cross the fold.

Add me in game if you want a match, thanks for reading.

What's to come:

Specific synergy and counter comps.

Jungle build.

Tank build.

Rotation and other generic soloQ tips applicable to other heroes.
