Koshka her gap closer is scary use suri strike to reposition further back as since shes next to you you can actually move backwards fast with it then frost burn to stop her passive speed boost from catching you.

Ardan his ult can trap you making your greatest weapon movbility nulified

Taka with the likely rise of cp taka after this update he can just burst you to bits just have vision and if you can see him use forward barrage there as you dont need target lock and frostburn can slow it down

Build: Lane Skye Top

Weapon Blade first for easier last hitting which is sold later when the item slot is required for crystal power or defense item.

Frostburn to make forward barrage highly effective in fights

Boots for movement and Tier 2 defense that will give you best protection vs enemy (often armour for wp jungler)

Energy thats built into eve for sustainability of spamming Forward Barrage and lifesteal to stay is fights a while.

Broken Myth with skyes forward barrage duration late fight she will have 6 stacks which is just so powerful.And a tier 3 defense (Shield can be bought into Aegis or Fountain)

6th max item whatever suits the game situation to be honest this will change every fight

Build: Jungle Skye Top

This will be more indepth as this is the one i prefer so i do workout better tricks by using her more.

First 1800 to gain 80 Crystal some energy and movement with this quick spike in power this will prevent the early game slump skye has.

with 2 of the bits build out frostburn for 1800 extra only getting 60 more cp which is why i suggest the initial build out.

Get a tier 2 defense from the options provided to best suit the enemy team composition

Get the void Battery then decide if you want a piercing shard then Eve of Harvest or go Eve first then build Broken Myth later, this is completely situational dependant on whether the enemy is building shield or not.

Great time for tier 2 boots and tier 3 defense

Now finish Broken Myth off

Final item is your choice on the situation i normally build more defense at the point though

Last Hitting Top

Skye is hard to last hit as you dont upgrade any weapon ive tried alternating current but its not effective so you just going to have to be alert to last hit. Most games cs will go to the enemies favour but skye only needs frostburn and broken myth before shes an absolute powerhouse but to give yourself a cs boost you may want to use a suri strike to splash damage lane and forward barrage to do a quick clear when theres alot of minions.

Ganks and first turret Top

the enemy team will try to gank, to evade it use mines for vision and use boots and passive speed boost to evade the gank. the best advice to prevent a gank is whats the max distance from turret where you are able to fall back behind it and remain alive and thats how far you can move forward. If you can wether the gold you loose (gold mine control is a good guide) then giving up your first turret is actually a great way long term to get cs as it forces opposing laner to over extend so in the end you get more gold long term cause often the wave normall you will get 2-3/4 minions but with first turret gone 3-4/4 minions is likely and after first turret is destroyed most enemies capture minion mine giving you even more gold so yes 900 gold is alot to give but the reward of 40 gold per wave and lack of gold for other laner does pay it off long term where skye is the key for her team late game.

Team Fights Top

Skyes Forward Barrage can be blocked by lane minions so team fights in lane are not ideal and for skye to get involved suri strike must be used to position for forward barrage as otherwise skye is nulified in lane. Jungle fights is where Skye shines as her mmobilty means very quikly if someone focuses you like a taka you can reposition with suri strike then forward barrage them the slow prevents any ability for the enemy to keep chasing you to do autos so at the beginning of most fights yes your hp bar will be hit but after the first phase skye shines. Because of the power of Skye your will be focused that can not be changed but this is where the ultimate Death From Above is so useful this allow you to section of the enemy team with barriers that to pass they receive (425+440 (this has accounted for 1 BM stack as you wouldve done a basic as least)) 865 dmg per second so inpenetrable as while in death from above after the stun enemies only move at 14% when frostburn is included. 1 full unshielded without a miss forward barrage will kill an enemy but with an aegis the barrage still will kill due to the pierce.

Jungle Farming Top

Farming in the jungle as skye must be considered as a laner classified hero it takes slightly more xp to lvl making going from the shop minions back the preffered choice (even though meta is the reverse those are jungle character so lvl 2 achieved in one rotation) at start as she needs lvl 2 asap without engage as the reset of forward barrage is where she is a threat. Her jungle clear is phenomenal with the 50% damage reduction of forward barrage vs minions removed taking mere seconds to do what takes other junglers much longer early game.

Jungle Engages (without enemy laner) Top

Skye is the best at 2v2 engages as really no jungler will kill skye before she kills them so these kinds of fights preffered lvl 2+ as this allows for farm stealing which will make you even stronger.

Jungle Fights (with laner) pre lvl6 Top

So its a 3v3 until lvl6 enter these on the side of caution as yes you will kill jungler but the enemy laner will kill you so only enter these if you think your laner has a significant advantage as thats where the fight will be won or lost.

Death From Above Stratagy Top

Death from Above is so complex it needs it own section. The Ultimate has a short stun, an immense slow with massive damage. The two different deployment of death from above are used for different reasons.

The Cluster Formation when clicking on an enemy Death from ABove lands in a cluster. This is a great way to start a team fight where you want the enemy to disperse and be cut off from one another as remember your a cp jungler so you will have a wp laner that has excellent point attack so isolating them will make them very powerful and skye has excellent 1v1 capabilities as well with forwrard barrage so this quick play can turn a 3v3 into a 2v3 or 1v3 without the ultimate doing any damage what so ever. Cluster Formation is fantastic with ardans gauntlet to prevent enemy from moveing within the locked in area as the slow is so bad its almost worse than a stun and without much spae between Your ultimate and gaunlet with out being in contact with either the enemy is pretty much stunned and trapped so this is where forward barrage and the wp laner is so powerful. Obviously Death from Above can be used for pure damage in cluster but thats an ideal situation and will be rare for teams to be so close together vs a skye.

The Line Formation when clicking anywhere withing the target area other than the locked target the ultimate is a line which is very strategical is an effective way to cut off certain parts of the fight. This is great to create a gap between you and 1 or more enemies where you can ultalise the strafing and high damage of forward barrage which is fantastic and if your low hp and enemy continues to walk through your ultimate and you have eve of harvest the heal will keep you in the fight like a Spectral Smite. The line can be used obviously to prevent enemy from retreating which is quite handy.
