How to play the Crit Jackhammer. Top

The entire game, Alpha should be focusing the enemy carry. Ganking in lane must be done until mid game. Remember, Alpha is unstoppable if played correctly. She is designed to pick a target and not stop until they are dead. Do not over extend past turrets or out of your past your team. In team fights, make sure to use things like the Crystal Minor to your advantage. While farming in jungle, try to keep your Core charge stacks at full. And before team fights, its a good idea to load up your core charge, before engaging. Even if a Alpha builds weapon, her core charged Prime Directive Ability will do a devastating blow. Core charge is your prime source of damage. It counts as a basic attack and will prock things like: Crit, Tension Bow & Shiver Steal. (Shiver Steel is not needed on Alpha because she has 2 gap closing abilities, and a slow on her 1st ability). (You may build Shiver Steal if you want). Back to core charge. This ability MUST be overdriven on Weapon & Crystal Alpha. The overdrive of this ability increases the Cooldown reduction from 1.5 seconds to 2.5 seconds. With core charge, each basic attack lowers the cooldown by 1.5 seconds. If overdriven, you can use Core Charge, every 2 basic attacks. (This is prominent on Both damage paths of Alpha.

Your other ability is Prime Directive, this ability does LOW weapon damage, but it can do a heavy burst with no CP if it is fully Core Charged. You can use this ability to dash through walls. It MUST be overdriven in ALL situations. Both weapon and crystal Alpha require this overdrive. The overdrive on this ability gives the targeting laser, even more range.

Finally, items. The main Build i have suggested, is by far the only build that works for me. Its reliable and can take out pretty much any hero. ALpha dose insane crit damage, so the only crit you will need is from the tornado trigger and monical. SOrrowblade gives even more damage. Double defense is needed on alpha, without it, she will die pretty fast. Breaking Point, Bone saw and Poison Shiv are NOT ENOUGH ATTACK SPEED. Building these items reduces attack speed. Without high attack speed, Alpha doesn't get enough Crits on her basic attacks. People say that Breaking Point is the only thing that makes weapon Alpha remotely good, Lies. With the most recent patch, Breaking Point doesn't have as good stats as it used to. it no longer works well on alpha.

Never use your ultimate until you're sure Alpha will die. When this Ability is activated, Alpha will gain a large health barrier for a short time, a few seconds later, she will explode dealing damage. while that health barrier is active, use this to your advantage. You can still activate your abilities when in mid Ultiment. Finally before you explode, use one of your dash abilities to insure the Explosion will hit a target. Even in a weapon build, this ability will do damage. A lot of damage. One more thing. Never fight unless your ultimate is off cooldown.
