Introduction Top

Hello, this is Divinaxel, and as you can see, I have now remanufactued the guide into a cooler one. With three seperate builds, and of course, I will keep my old builds here. It's going to be very long guide, so you will not need to read 'em all. But what I have put up here is a small table of contents to lead you to the build you want to consult (by the way, the lifetseal build is my old one which was here in the guide previously).

About the Burst Build Top

This build's purpose is to become effective enemies with high health, which is usually one of the most common type of enemies during battles. Tanks use this item, and you can also use this against tanks. Tanks who usually build lots of health like Fortress, Phinn, or any hero who usually buys health because he/she is usually fragile. Aftershock 'slices' a part of the enemy's health, which is why Aftershock's burst depends on 'slice' damage. This is true damage, which is damage that doesn't get mitigated by either armor or shield.

Heroic Perk & Strategy Top

Shadows Empower Me
Krul's heroic perk. How Shadows Empower Me functions is that it gives you an additional movement speed for a period of time, slowing any enemy hero down on your next basic attack while the perk is activated. This is useful for ganks especially in the lane brush when the enemy laner is pushing toward your territory. This is activated by standing still in a brush for 1.5 seconds, and when your hellrazor is blazing, it indicates that the perk is ready to use. Take note that this won't activate Aftershock's burst. But it's more useful if you accompany it with your ability slot A ( Dead Man's Rush) by the moment you have activated this perk, which also activates Aftershock's burst. Lay some more hits and smite them by the time they get back to their normal pace. This strategy should either kill or scare the enemy laner away and go home.

Ability Overview & Strategy Top

Dead Man's Rush
Spectral Smite
From Hell's Heart
Dead Man's Rush is Krul's ability slot A. This ability is used for catching up to enemies, slowing enemies down (by associating this with your perk), ganking the enemy laner down, and of course, gaining a protective health barrier. This ability's function is to allow you to dash toward your enemy, dealing crystal & weapon damage, together with Aftershock's burst, and it gives you an additional Breaking Point stack. This ability is most effective with Aftershock, because the ability itself is accompanied by Aftershock's effects, not the basic attack after the ability. With Aftershock around, this will do as much damage as Spectral Smite or maybe even more.
Spectral Smite is Krul's ability slot B. This is useful if you want to last-hit the enemy, if you have the stacks needed. Spectral Smite's function is to damage your target, dealing heavy damage based on the amount of stacks you have before you detonate it. 8 stacks total. Aftershock's burst don't give any effects to the ability itself like how Dead Man's Rush is given effects, but basic-attacking an enemy hero afterwards will deal the Aftershock burst, which is good for last-hitting the hero, if Spectral Smite wasn't enough to blow the enemy away.
From Hell's Heart is Krul's ultimate, which when activated, you can choose any direction where Krul can pull out & throw his hellrazor. Which is lodged in Krul's chest, which is basically his heart, and the name of the ability is " From Hell's Heart" which means that Krul is Hell himself. Now I understand. When this blade hits an enemy hero, the victim would be stunned and is stung by a slow effect for a period of time. Best used when you plan on hitting an enemy on its 'boomerang' or 'returning' stage. The stun of the ability won't have the Aftershock effects, but your next basic attack on the enemy will deal the burst, and when the enemy starts moving again, use your ability slot A and for more Aftershock burst, and smite them if the enemy would still manage to escape. This strategy will eliminate the target or make him/her run away scared. IMPORTANT REMINDER: when you have stunned an enemy hero with this, don't use Dead Man's Rush on them YET. Basic-attack the target first before using your Dead Man's Rush on them. This will deal more bursts than using your ability slot A right after stunning the target, without basic-attacking him first.

Art I Would Like to Share Top

Yo, guys. I also draw. Here's a drawing of my favorite VG character, Krul. I got to shade it darker, thanks to my sister's Christmas gift for me (charcoal pencils), yaaaaaay. Well, I still goofed the mouth up, hah. I am a reckless shader, but I got the abdominal muscles right. I usually draw anime characters such as Kaneki, Eren, & more, and I like anime, too. I'm gonna draw more soon, and I will post them here if they're Vainglory-related.
