 Celeste All of her abilities will get reflected by your Stormguard and trust me it can and will kill her.

 Taka Same as Celeste, you basically can 1v1 with him. Just make sure that your Stormguard is up.

   No Threat

 Ardan Remember his heroic perk. He can't do much just like you but try to stun him when he is channeling his ultimate.

 Rona Her abilities will get reflected by your Stromguard but remember that she has a health barrier when having full bloorage so the damage that is reflected by your Stormguard can't really hurt her.

 Krul He will have a hard time killing you. Just make sure that your Stormguard is up and keep moving. I know that his abilities will get reflected by your Stormguard but smart Krul will wait for your Stormguard to go down and let the Breaking Point stacks kicks in.

 Fortress Remember that he can slow you down. He is extremely fast and his abilities will make sure that you can't escape. Remember that he is not a protector which means he really can't save teammates. Take him last.

 Phinn Remember that he can't be stun so don't stun him unless his teammates are dead. Try to reflex block his ultimate.

 Petal Make sure your Stormguard is up when you walk by her seeds. Her pets doesn't get reflected by your Stormguard but her ultimate does so make use of it.

 Catherine Who ever make use of her stun and ultimate wins. Remember to build Warhorn instead of Contraption when facing her. Scout traps that you placed will get reflected by her Stormguard which will damage your allies.

 Joule Make sure your Stormguard is up when facing WP and CP Joule. WP Joule will have a high critical damage from her second ability and CP Joule will have a high damage of her first and third ability. Every time I get stunned by Joule, I died. The reason is because my Stormguard is down. Make sure to take her out first.

 Adagio Similar to Vox. WP Adagio is fine but CP is not. CP Adagio will have a high damage of fire from his first ability which won't be reflected by your Stormguard. So try to avoid the fire but make use of his ultimate. You can deal tons of damage to his teammate. Stun him when he is channeling his ultimtae only if there is a teammate inside the ring or when your Stormguard is down.

 Skaarf Skaarf's passive doesn't get reflected by Catherine's Stormguard and it really hurts Catherine like hell especially in the late game but his spitfire does. Make sure to go in front of your allies so that you get the fire rather than your carry. I personally think that his ultimate is one of the strongest in the late game. Try to stun him or run using Warhorn.

 Skye WP Skye is fine but CP Skye is different. I've asked the developer and they confirmed that non of her abilities get reflected by Catherine's Stormguard. CP Skye will usually rush to Frostburn and when she uses her first ability, don't try to stun her because I've tried and it doesn't work. Catherine will get slowed when trying to stun her. So try to stun her as fast as you can.

 Vox Vox is similar to Skye. WP Vox is fine but CP Vox is not. I've played against him so many times and notice that his basic and bouncing attack of CP Vox will not get reflected by your Stormguard so make sure to take him down first and due to the recent update, you can reflex block his sonar which means he can't use his first ability.

 Ringo Similar like Vox. WP Ringo is fine but CP is not. So why is Ringo a high threat. His ultimate does get reflected by your shield and so is every other abilities. Remember, CP Ringo will overdrive his first ability and even though your Stormguard is up, you will get small amount of hits but in a large quantity. CP Ringo have a short cooldown time of his first ability and he will kite you to death. When you try to stun him, he will slow you down and remember, his basic attack will not reflect much damage to him. So try to take him out first.

Introduction Top

Catherine is definitely one of the best protectors out there. All of her abilities are useful for you and your allies. She has a high mobility thanks to her first ability. A high tankiness thanks to her second ability and heroic perk. She can sometimes save teammates as well being a great initiator and bush checker. She pairs well with a carry who has high amount of damage but low survivability.

Abilities Top

Captain of the Guard
Catherine gains 1 armor & shield every time she stuns or silences an enemy hero with her abilities.
I know lots of people underestimate this heroic perk but it actually is one of the best. I've been in a casual match of a 28 minute game and guess what, I've gotten the stacks to go up to 101. Its crazy I know.

Merciless Pursuit
Catherine gains a burst of move speed. Her next basic attack is replaced by a powerful stun attack. Resets basic attack cooldown on activation.
Stun enemy every single time you see them but in the late game, don't use the stun but wait for the enemy carry to use their ultimate and stun them.
Stormguard
Activates a pulsating bubble that burns nearby enemies and deflects damage above 77 (+7 per level) to nearby enemies. Each deflection reduces the shield duration by 0.5 seconds. Overdrive: Damage reflected by this ability is increased by 25%
Stun and use Stormguard. Then hit the enemy and move and hit and move and repeat. The reason I overdrive this ability is because since the stun time is reduced, it's better to increase your survivability. When you overdrive Stormguard, its cooldown became 4 seconds and with clockwork it will become 3 seconds which increase the survivability of yourself. Make sure to always use Stormguard the start of teamfights.
Blast Tremor
Catherine slams the ground, damaging & silencing enemies in a large cone in front of her.
Use this ability at the start of the fight not at the end. Make sure to use this ability within the best angle to ensure all 3 enemies gets silenced. Beware of Catherine in the enemey team, with the right timing it can stun you when channeling the ultimate.

Strategy Top

When there is Skaarf in the enemy team, build warhorn instead of Contraption since smart players will use Reflex Block when channeling their ultimate. The reason I only mention Skaarf is because he has the strongest ultimate in the game especially if he has Eve of Harvest, Broken Myth, and Shatterglass. I don't know how but I managed to survive Skaarf Dragon Breath ONCE by using Stormguard and then using Crucible and Fountain of Renewal right when I'm about to die. I'm also pretty sure that this is because my shield stacks are high enough from Captain of the Guard.

The key to winning in a large teamfights is to stun the right person. Don't or never stun the enemeies tank in a large team fights unless they are channeling their ultimate. Remember that you can stun Ringo Hellfire Brew, Celeste Solar Storm, Ardan Gauntlet, Koshka Yummy Catnip Frenzy, Adagio Verse of Judgement, Joule Big Red Button and Rocket Leap, SAW Suppressing Fire and Roadie Run, Catherine Blast Tremor, Skye Forward Barrage, Rona Red Mist, Skaarf Dragon Breath, and Taka Kaku.

Remember that with Aftershock, you can take the Kraken yourself. Just make sure your Stormguard is up and beware if Celeste snipe using Solar Storm.
