Threat Hero Notes
1
  No Threat
2
Ringo Ringo is fast and slippery enough to avoid most of Adagio's abilities. And Ringo can hit you and then kite, kite, kite. Be careful, because his Ultimate Hellfire Brew will damage you more than you can heal.
3
  No Threat
4
Catherine Catherine's stun can cancel Adagio's ultimate during the channeling period so be sure to use Reflex Block. And remember Catherine has a short cooldown on stuns.
4
Petal Use your gift of fire to slow her Spontaneous Combustion and you should be fine.
5
Adagio First of all, I guess it really depends on who is better. You playing Adagio or them. Secondly, all of Adagio's are offensive as well. To keep ahead of your opponent look at what they are building often. Also, if your opponent has Reflex block, Crucible, or Aegis and triggers it right before his ultimate Verse of Judgement, then he will be invulnerable to stuns. The reason I did Adagio on threat level is because he can be a huge threat or a tiny threat depending on whether or not you are better at playing him than the enemy. Same thing it depends on who is ahead.
5
Taka It depends, on whether on not he is building Weapon or Crystal. If Weapon he will have to get close to you, so landing your slow will be easy. Go ahead and slow him, and as soon as he enters stealth, quickly heal yourself so he will get burned. Then just follow the marking! If Crystal he can spam his abilities, dashing in and dashing out. If well played, he might not even take any damage from you. Remember to slow and stun immediately when he uses X-Retsu to damage you. But, remember your heal will be 50%! Try to kill him towards the beginning of the game before he unlocks his Ultimate X-Retsu.
5
Skaarf His Dragon Breath Ultimate is deadly, but it has a channeling time, so take that time to slow and stun him, and you should be fine, if he doesn't use reflex block. Teleport home if you get burned by his ultimate, and don't let his range be an advantage. He really should be the easiest hero to kill as Adagio.
5
Joule The main thing with Joule is watch out for her Rocket Leap, because even though the stun might not be dangerous, it does 2 things: The first, if she manages to stun you she will most likely use her Big Red Button ability, and second it will close a gap so that she can use her Thunder Strike ability.
5
Celeste She can burst you because your mobility is not too high. Try to buy the boots's upgrade to sprint when you see stars or you can also "ALL-IN" and sprint into her face to slow her and burst with 4-5 auto attacks.
6
  No Threat
7
Koshka Again, a threat for the same reason Koshka stuns, be careful not to let her get away with her heroic perk when in a team fight. Watch out for her Ultimate Yummy Catnip Frenzy and use Reflex Block against it. Time it out and Slow and Stun her to keep her from closing the gap between you and her.
7
SAW Saw is really only dangerous to Adagio when he uses his Suppressing Fire. His shank deals massive damage. With 12 stacks and 9 explosive potato ammo he will totally demolish you. Try and remove his stacks as soon as possible with your stun. But be careful his build he might have reflex block.
7
Glaive Glaive is simple, but a little dangerous, so my tip: Fight and Kite!
8
Ardan He has high health and defense.
9
Krul Krill with a Crystal or a Weapon build is a very dangerous and also a very sneaky character. Do not let him get close to you and do try 1vs1 at any point in the game. If he finds you try to stun him.
10
Vox Unknown(!??!)

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!!
Disclaimer: THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR MY REFERENCE ONLY UNTIL FINISHED!!

Note: I'm sorry this is taking so long I'm really busy and have had really ****py teammates this guide should be done in 2037. :).

P.s. 1. If this guide were completed it would be so good that it would be featured in the news section of the vainglory app. 2. For those of you under high school years that don't know what busy is I have been working, going to school, writing a book, doing homework, projects, exams, church, reading books, playing Vainglory and also playing Minecraft and Mobile Strike. This is life and unfortunately vainglory is not at the top of the priority list. So, unfortunately this will take forever I will get it done though (by the date above anyway).

Also, it gives vg developers time to solve the "****py teamates on every teir problem".
Anyways that is just a little bit about me and what I'm doing why this will take forever etc.

Introduction to Adagio (1) Top

Attack : Ranged
Position : Roam
Role : Tactician

*Need To Know
  • Adagio is more than a support; all his abilities have an offense.
  • His heal sets enemies on fire and his other abilities are more powerful when used on burning enemies.
  • Slows and Stuns keep enemies nearby for Adagio's Ultimate.

Background

The master manipulator of large-scale battles, Adagio brings incredible teamfight presence with huge area-of-effect damage and team-saving abilities. He can heal, amplify damage, stun and nuke the entire enemy team, but coordination is key, and Adagio is flexible.

Abilities
  1. Arcane Renewal Heroic Perk Adagio recharges energy whenever enemies burning with Arcane Fire take damage from any source.
    1. Gift of Fire Adagio heals a target ally and splashes Arcane Fire onto nearby enemies, dealing damage every second. If Adagio targets himself, he will also slow nearby enemies. Each ability point spent on Gift of Fire increases its healing power, burn damage and energy cost.
    2. Agent of Wrath Increases target allys basic attack power for several seconds. Deals additional damage to enemies burning with Arcane Fire. If Adagio targets himself, the bonus attack power is even greater. Each ability point spent on Agent of Wrath increases its attack power boost, burn damage and energy cost. Each point also accelerates its cooldown.
    3. Verse of Judgement Adagio channels for two seconds then deals grievous damage to all enemies in a wide, ring around him. Enemies burning with Arcane Fire are also stunned. Each ability point spent on Verse of Judgement increases its damage, stun duration and energy cost and accelerates its cooldown.

Tier 1 Shop Items (1.1) Top

There are less tier 1 shop items than tier 2 and 3, so seeing as how you are going to have to get these anyway to start with I thought I would go through them and try to find the best build for [Adagio].

Also, don't look at how much of something it does, but look at what it does (the "service" it provides).
EX. Weapon Blade; don't look at the amount 15 weapon power; instead look at weapon power increases the damage of basic attacks. I did that one as an example because it was the first one, but maybe a better example would be: Book of Eulogies don't look at 5 weapon power; look at the passive restores health when you kill an enemy.

Okay, so the next thing I want to mention is that it depends on whether you want to go any of he numerous ways you could go; to list a few: Crystal, Weapon, Tank... I will be covering those in this guide.

Also to start off all of my builds, I use some consumables like Minion Candy and Scout Trap, but I don't use items/health potion, or Flare Gun, except MAYBE flare gun when you want to know where the enemy hero are when you are about to take the kraken other wise you can use scout traps for vision. Also, I don't use Weapon Infusion or Crystal Infusion. I will talk about consumables and placement of Scout Traps further along in my guide.
It's easier to "comprehend" for the noobs if you think about it like there are just four sections instead of six and you just have to go to consumables at the beginning, so the four sections are: Weapon, Ability, Defense, and Utility (Which also isn't used as often as the rest).

Also, there are certain items no matter which way you go you need to have, for example, Ironguard Contract, Oakheart, Sprint Boots.

So those above plus some of these suggestions: Book of Eulogies, Hourglass.

And then you get to chose one below:
Swift Shooter
Minion's Foot
Crystal Bit
Light Armor

In my final build I choose this one:
Light Armor

Order of upgrading:
First, if your going tank get the Ironguard Contract, then no matter what way get 6 Scout Traps and 5 Minion Candy at the very beginning of the game to give your minions a head start give them Minion Candy as soon as possible place the Scout Traps in the four bushes surrounding the gold mine, then put the remaining two behind the gold miner for vision.
