Heroic Perk Top
Catherine's heroic perk gives her more armor every time she stuns or silences an enemy hero, yes?
SO DO THAT IN THE EARLY-GAME.
Go up to lane every now and then and stun the opponent laner. This way, you can get your stacks up.
By the way, if Ringo is the opponent laner then GOOD. He's the only laner with no bush-checker so he can't really predict where you are, unless he has a flare.
While playing Catherine, just S T U N as many heroed as you can, or silence them.
If you get your heroic perk's stacks higher than 50 or something, you'll pretty much be unkillable. (Unless you're 1v1ing a
Krul, well, I don't know why you'd 1v1 a Krul-)
Farming (Hyper Leveling) Top
Have you heard of
Hyper Leveling?
If not, go onto YouTube and search up Gankstars Academy.
If you're too lazy to do that, then I'll try explain.
Okay, first, just go to the jungle minion area closest to the jungle shop.
Take the first hit, get the jungle minions to at least half health, run away, make the jungle minions hit your jungler and make him/her finish the minions off.
Why?
Because if a roamer is close to the jungle minion, then the experience points gets halfed, making the roamer and jungler level up at the same pace.
However, if you try hyper leveling, all the experience points goes to the jungler, making them much stronger. And don't worry about gold, you'll still get the gold, I think if you're 10 meters away from the jungler/minion, you'll still get gold. Any further than that, you get no moolah. :(
Flares Top
GET THE FLARES.
YOU WANT YOUR TEAM TO BE ****PED UP WHILE HEADING INTO A BRUSH?
Son, get the flares or else you're not a good roamer.
You can get contraption too.
Somewhere near 5 mins Top
You've probably cleared the jungle at least 3 times.
And you've probably ganked the enemy laner too, earning yourself a stack.
This is the time to head to the jungle and buy 2 oakhearts.
But!!
Before you shop, check the other brush, there could be a gank.
You should also buy a scout trap too and place it right at the edge of the other brush.
Defense Top
Okay, if you haven't bought Crucible and Fountain of Renewal, w h a t a r e y o u d o i n g ? ? ?
If you can't really time your Crucible right then....sigh, BELIEVEEEEE.
Imagine a Hellfire Brew chasing you or an ally. As soon as it's like a meter away from you/an ally, PUSH DOWN THAT CRUCIBLE REAL HARD, FAM. P U S H I T .
Blocking From Hell's Heart might be a bit harder though. If you can't block it, use Fountain of Renewal.
Contraption is great, just sayin-
Gives extra health, cooldown acceleration, gives flares and scout traps. Good deal.
Being Catherine means you HAVE to get cooldown acceleration items. Contraption is a good one, so is Crystal Infusion but the best one is Clockwork.
Warhorn is great too.
You can sprint together with your allies. Sprint away from all the ****.
I know this is a guide on how to play Catherine but if you're Phinn, Warhorn is a must-have.
What to buy in some bad situations Top
If there is a
Rona,
Krul or
SAW on the enemy team, G E T A N A T L A S, my friend.
You gotta activate an atlas real close to the enemies though, like man, only 4 meters? Bull****, but eh, you gotta deal with it.
Is there a damn hero that goes sanik fast when you tryna kill them?
This is the time to buy a Shiversteel. You know why it's call a Shiversteel? Shiver-STEEL THE SPEED. Haaaaaa, bad pun.
Is the enemy Kestrel or Taka disappearing every second?
Son, get the Contraption. It's really great against Kestrel and Taka. Aim the Flare at where you think they might have gone.
***DO NOT BUY AEGIS OR A METAL JACKET***
You buy that and you're the worst roamer ever. Buying those two are the worst things you can buy in the Defense section as a roamer. IT'S SELFISH, SO D O N O T B U Y .
How to actually roam Top
Step 1: GANK
Step 2: SUPPORT YOUR TEAM
Step 3: ACTUALLY LOCK IN A HERO THAT HAS THE PROTECTOR ROLE
Ganking
Stay in the brush for a few seconds, you can also get gold by doing that, if you're not getting any gold, blame your laner.
Wait for the right moment. If the enemy laner is far enough from their turret, this is the time to stun them right in the ballsack.
But before doing that, use a flare and put it in the other side of the brush.
After scaring off the enemy laner, you can quickly drop down a scout trap in the other brush.
Supporting your team
Read both the chapter above.
Also, stay together with your allies in late game and check every single brush before you brainlessly wander into them and get ********ed.
Locking in the Right Hero
Okay, yeah, you could turn any hero into a roam by buying Ironguard Contract but, it's the hero abilities. Catherine has the stun and silence, which helps your team. Ardan has the health thing and the gauntlet. Phinn can have a stun and pull back fleeing enemies. Adagio has the buff and the heal and....you get what I mean.
Other heroes don't really have that. I've seen Koshka and Krul go roam, but their abilities are mostly offensive, like, they only deal damage. Some ultimates have stuns and that's great but Phinn and Catherine can use a stun frequently. Get what I mean?
***ALSO, IF YOU CAN, TRY TO STUN SOME ENEMY HEROES WHILE THEY'RE GETTING READY FOR THEIR ULTIMATE. FOR EXAMPLE, RINGO, KRUL, JOULE, SKAARF, ALL THESE HEROES, YOU CAN STUN THEIR ULT***
Turrets Top
If an enemy is super low-health, and if you're really ******* tanky. GO PAST THAT TURRET. DO IT. USE YOUR MERCILESS PURSUIT. BOOM, ONE KILL FOR YOUR TEAM. But you should retreat when you're really low health. By low health, I mean like ******* one-hit-by-a-jungle-minion-and-you're-dead kind of low health, R U N A W A Y. TAP THAT HALCYON POTION LIKE HOW YOU'D TAP THE BOOTY AND TELEPORT BACK IF NEEDED.
Scout traps Top
Don't know where to place scout traps? I'll help.
Okay, buy a bunch of scout traps and get ready.
See the brush next to the gold mine? Place it at the very edge of the brush but also make it close to the gold mine. This way, you can keep your eyes on enemies who are trying to gank your laner from your side of the jungle, and you can also keep an eye on the gold mine.
If you can, place two scout traps in the gold mine area.
Place some other scout traps in weird places, like places no one would go so you can keep an eye on the enemy without getting your scout trap going boooom.
Another good area is inbetween the brushes near the jungle shop, or you can place it behind the jungle shop.
If you have a Koshka or Taka on your team, try to put scout traps on the jungle minions, so Koshka can use her A ability if she's being chased, same with Taka on his ult.
If possible, keep one eye on the mini-map and one eye on your hero. Just kidding.
Well, if you can actually do that then go ahead-
Being a roam means seeing what's going on. If you see your laner being ********ed by all three enemy heroes, R U S H O V E R T H E R E W I T H Y O U R M E R C I L E S S P U R S U I T.
Also ping the lane in case your jungler still doesn't realise.
Building against opponents Top
If there's a Ringo, Adagio, Celeste, Joule- Ahem, if there is an enemy with an ability you can use reflex block on, rush Crucible. RUSH IT, FAM.

Teamfighting Top
What does Catherine do in team fights?
Get rid of the enemy with lowest health first.
Never EVER focus on the enemy roamer.
Wait for your enemies to get into a good spot, tHEN HIT THAT BLAST TREMOR ONTO THE GROUND AND BOOM.
STUNSTUNSTUNSTUNSTUNSTUNSTUN
If you have Warhorn, use that for chasing or just feeling with your team.
If an enemy is targeting you, activate your B ability and boom, you could kill them.
Kraken Top
If you're alive and if the enemies are capturing the Kraken, wait for the right moment and use your blast tremor. JUST DO IT. If you didn't succeed, allgoods, at least you tried. IF your team-mates are pinging you, they're *******s.
Oh and also, everyone should know this but if the enemy team is aced, RUSH TO THE ******* KRAKEN AND TANK IT, OKAY.
