1
Celeste Does damage in team fights but dies easy.
1
Samuel Sitting duck with no escape and a delayed stun. Easy kill.
2
Adagio He heals his team a lot from the back and his ultimate hurts, but he doesn't do much damage besides. Kill him last and use ultimate when he does.
2
Skaarf Very squishy but does deal a lot of damage, especially when you are cp.
3
Lyra She heals a lot but dies quick, be careful for her second ability, it makes escaping or finishing her off hard.
3
Vox Squishy but he can silence and has a dash. If he goes cp he is easy money, if weapon, make sure to engage with shield.
4
Ardan Once you get your blink if you are wp, you can get past his gauntlet.
4
Baron Does a lot of damage and has that dash, but can be bursted quick.
4
SAW Bait out his spin up halfway then engage with ultimate when the meter is halfway. Don't let his passive stack up.
5
Blackfeather If you are running from him its hard to escape, but you can chase him pretty well. Dodge his ultimate if possible.
5
Idris Skill Matchup
5
Ozo Has really nice sustain, but if you have your mortal wound, he is toast.
5
Skye If she gets away don't chase under tower unless her team is dead. She kites very well and does a lot of damage.
5
Taka Mostly a skill matchup. Use your ultimate to make sure he doesn't get away in his box. Use your shield to block his burst if you see him in a bush.
6
Catherine Her stun is very annoying and her bubble reflects a ton. Don't fight her when her bubble is up.
6
Gwen Squishy but does a lot of damage and has a cleanse, but you have no cc in the first place. Don't let her run away though.
6
Kestrel Watch out for her traps, she is squishy.
6
Phinn Tanky with a lot of cc, focus him last but stay away from his anchor slam stun.
6
Reim Does damage only if you stand right next to him. Poke him down then go in for the kill.
7
Fortress His wolves hurt and his team is usually behind him, but if he is the last one he dies pretty fast.
7
Joule Does a lot of damage either way, counter build her and she shouldn't be too hard to kill.
7
Petal Her pets do a lot of damage, she snowballs hard, don't underestimate. Run away from her while throwing you chakrams then turn on her when she is about half.
8
Flicker His whole team gets invisibility, make sure you have scout traps or your team will get ambushed.
8
Koshka Her ultimate is strong and she does damage, but if you play right, you can kill her. Your shurikin still comes back, even if you are in stun.
8
Ringo Does tons of damage but he also takes a lot. Always focus first in team fights.
9
Glaive Careful for his frequent cp knock backs or his crazy aoe wp damage. Fight only if you are fed.
9
Lance Does tons of damage with tons of utility and mobility. Wherever support is, there is also a carry. Kill him only if his team is dead.
9
Rona Surprisingly strong if she gets a lead. Stay away from her early and dash away from her ultimate.
10
Alpha She does a lot of damage, has two lives, and is super tanky, group to kill her.
10
Krul Unless he has 10 deaths and you have 10 kills and can one shot him, run away.

2
Skaarf Does damage but it can all be dodged. Burst him, pretty easy to kill.
2
Vox Squishy but wp does a lot of damage.
3
Baron Does damage but you can poke him for a ton then dash in and kill him.

4
Phinn CC for days. Don't dive him, focus last.

5
Ozo Not too much of a problem but he is very mobile. Blink away when he uses his 3rd ring attack so he doesn't heal a lot, then re engage.

Idris Abilities Top

Divergent Paths is Idris' Heroic Perk. It adds so many options to Idris and makes him a viable hero for any build bath (maybe not tank or support though). His crystal path is great for kiting and works very well with frostburn, aftershock, and alternating current. His weapon path makes him super mobile and gives him even more damage.
Shroudstep, Idris' A Ability adds some extra mobility and damage. It is a roll with a barrier that upgrades into a blink. It is great for initiating and chasing, especially when building weapon. It also amplifies damage, even when crystal. Use it to proc aftershock and hit extra hard.
{icon=chakram size=75]Chakram deals the most damage out of all of Idris' abilities. It hits hard and does aoe. Dodge it with your shroudstep and shimmer strike to get the most damage possible. It is strong either way.
Shimmer strike is Idris' ultimate ability. It is pretty good. I use it mainly for damage and dodging my chakram for maximum damage. If you have a breaking point, the aoe from this and from chakram stack it up insanely fast.

Introduction Top

Hi my ign is XxNotoriousXx and I made this guide after playing Idris a lot. He is a great hero and in this guide, I will show you how to play CP, WP, and Hybrid lane Idris. All three builds are great and they all do a ton of damage. Weapon is high sustained damage, crystal is sustained with high bursts from chakram, and hybrid is hyper-mobile.As vainglory changes, this guide is always subject to change.

Weapon Pros and Cons Top

Pros
-High Damage
-High Mobility
-High Sustain
-Barrier and Invulnerability
-Good Poke
-Blink to Dodge Skillshots
Cons
-Squishy
-Vulnerable to CC
-Item Reliant
-No CC
-Crystal Kites Better

Weapon Early Top

Early game Idris is very weak, start with chakrams and use them to farm. You can outdamage your enemy, but usually they do more damage at the start. Play safe. Make sure to use your book of eulogies to heal off minions.

Weapon Mid Game and Item Choices Top

You need sorrow blade really bad. It gives you your passive and it gives you damage. Once your chakram is lvl 4 or 5 it starts chunking. When the enemy is half hp, wait for chakram cd. Engage with your 1st ability, auto, chakram, auto (try to run with your enemy), then ult if they get away. Stormcrown is a good option because you will always do some damage, and I always build it, cp or wp. Poison shiv gives you 2 important stats: life steal (quite a bit) and attackspeed (about as much as breaking point). Echo opens up a lot of plays like double chakrams, super barrier (use dash with chakram and autos to get enough energy for another dash), or a super long invulnerability.

Weapon Late Game Top

You should be doing a lot of damage with your chakram. Group with your team to take objectives and pick off the enemy team. If you are behind, don't underestimate your damage, your ultimate is good for sticking and does aoe. At this point, auto attacks and your blink should be doing most of the damage.Get crit items to make your blink attack hurt. The high damage build includes a lot of attack speed mixed with crit, and it works very well and builds up with the breaking point.

Crystal Pros and Cons Top

Pros
- Safety Behind Teammates
- Good Sustained Damage
- Kite Very Well
- Even Better Mobility than Weapon
- Damage Builds Up in Long Fights
- High Attack Speed
Cons
- Item Reliant
- Needs a Tank
- Very Squishy
- Vulnerable to CC
- Easy to Kill Pre-125 CP
- Low Sustain (with eve of harvest)

Crystal Early Top

You need book of eulogies, you don't do much damage at the start of the game. Play safe and kill minions while poking down enemies with chakrams.

Crystal Mid Game and Item Choices Top

Farming is key to crystal Idris. You need the broken myth and the alternating current to get your damage up. You have consistent damage with little bursts from chakrams. Your damage really gets running when you get lvl 4-5 chakram and your broken myth is stacked. Be aware that you do more melee damage than ranged. Use your range to stack up broken myth. Stormcrown, like I previously said, is a great item. It does full damage from range too. Aftershock does a lot of damage when your broken myth is stacked up. Echo adds a lot of burst to your kit if when you double chakram in a team fight. BROKEN MYTH IS ESSENTIAL. I have played many games as crystal Idris and I did absolutely 0 damage without it but with it, I had high dps and could burst from melee. Occasionally, my ranged auto does about half the enemy's hp (even vs the tank) when Alternating current, Aftershock, and roll are up, and broken myth is fully stacked.Alternating current adds attack speed and more damage and with broken myth, you get your ranged attack. Eve of Harvest heals an ok amount when you have breaking point stacked up (I don't like it though, the heal isn't very strong).

Crystal Late Game Top

Late game you should be pumping out good damage. Ultimate on an ally to disengage, your ultimate has longer range when you are cp. Get your broken myth stacked up on the enemy tank or initiator. Then switch targets and burst down their carries. Your chakram goes through enemies so you can stay on their tank and hit their back line with your chakram. Remember to kite, frostburn is pretty much shiversteel but with damage, and it helps a lot with kiting. The high damage build mixes a little sustain and a lot of damage. The frostburn lets you kite and keep up with your enemies, while your alternating current and aftershock allow your auto attacks to a lot of damage. With your shatter glass, your chakram does massive damage, and it gives a nice medium sized power spike to your auto attacks. Remember to use your roll to get away from enemies and do more damage, this process your aftershock.

Hybrid Pros and Cons Top

Pros
- High Damage
- Hard to Build Against
- Mixed Damage
- Blink and Extra Range Ultimate
- Hard to Chase Good at Chasing
Cons
- Squishier than Normal
- Very Weak to CC
- Not Much Space for Defense
- Hard to Balance out Damage Between Crystal and Weapon

Hybrid Early Top

You will basically start out like weapon and build crystal later. Play safe and wait for ganks. When their team ranks, yours will usually gank right after and vice versa.

Hybrid Mid Game and Item Choices Top

Go with your team into the enemy jungle and ambush the enemy. Play like a crystal carry and auto attack until they are low, the play aggressive like weapon. I like to use the auto attack items because they pair nicely with your blink. The weapon heavy build has a lot of attack speed and it is really strong at kiting. Remember when you play crystal heavy that if you blink then auto it will chunk the enemy, especially if you have broken myth stacks. In any of my builds need defense, replace the 5th offensive item.

Hybrid Late Game Top

Save your alternating current (and aftershock if you have it) for a melee attack. Blink in when they are ready then hit them with your empowered auto. Idris is very good at chasing. Remember to use melee attacks and ranged ones. Try to hit as many enemies as possible with your chakram, but autos are your main damage source. Get crit if you want extra weapon damage and shatter glass if you want more flat out damage.
