Threat Hero Notes
1
Reim Use high mobility to stay out of his way, break his barrier with your crit.
1
Samuel Avoid his skill shots with your mobility and gun him down.
1
Skaarf Avoid skill shots with mobility.
2
Celeste Avoid her skill shots, but be wary of her when she has full stacks.
2
Joule Wait for her to use her Rocket Leap, then dance around her and she is relatively easy to take down.
3
  No Threat
4
Krul Krul can be sticky, but with some good Suri Strikes you can build up good stacks and take him down.
4
Alpha Same situation as Krul.
4
Lyra Not so much of a threat as she is a nuisance, able to block your Suri Strikes with her Bright Bulwark and slow you with her Arcane Missiles. Try to stay away from her in teamfights to achieve maximum damage with Skye.
5
  No Threat
6
Kestrel About the same as you. Try to focus on taking Kestrel down early in teamfights, as she can get her Breaking Poin stacks just as efficiently as you can.
6
Gwen Same situation as Kestrel.
7
Lance A good Skye can reliably dodge Lance's Impales, which is why he is not as big of a threat as some others, but if you do happen to be caught in a root, things can go south very quickly. Your best bet is basic attacking the nearest minion and then Suri Striking away as soon as you can. Try to stay mobile around Lance and do your best to avoid his Impale.
8
Ringo Ringo's Achilles Shot can be a pain to deal with, and his ability to constantly harass you and keep up with you by using his Twirling Silver means you really have to work to keep up with him.
9
Koshka Be very wary of a Koshka. If you can, make sure to basic her, and then escape with your Suri Strikes. Her move speed boost can be hard to deal with, but with the added slow via weapon ratio on Skye's Forward Barrage you can potentially evade a Koshka by slowing them down. One way to counter her Yummy Catnip Frenzy is to call a Death From Above on yourself and knock her out of her stun by stunning her and doing damage. Reflex Blocks are too mainstream ;)
9
Ardan Ardan makes a game hard for Skye. His Vanguard barrier is hard to chew through with your low base damage, and his Gauntlet can vastly limit your mobility if you get trapped inside. If possible, try to wait until Ardan has thrown the Gauntlet before fully initiating into the fight.
10
Blackfeather Stay as far away as possible. Backfeather is incredibly sticky, and his On Point can slow you, taking away your large advantage of mobility. This combined with a Pauldron from Blackfeather can spell death, even with a good Captain protecting you.

The Basics of Weapon Skye Top

Weapon Power Skye varies greatly from playing as a Crystal Power Skye. When going CP, You need to land a basic for your Suri Strike, but that's about it; your abilities to the rest of the work with the occasional retargeting via basic attack. But, with WP Skye, you need to be able to land your basics and use your abilities to stay close. Suri Strikes are used for repositioning purposes rather than damage. Your Forward Barrage is used to slow enemies down and catch them. If you are used to playing CP Skye, this may feel unnatural to you. Remember, your Target Lock perk gives you a move speed bonus. Use this to your full advantage on Skye, as that movie speed can significantly help with keeping your Breaking Point stacks up. Also, energy does not become that big of an issue, and you will be relying more on your basics to farm. Keep in mind that WP Skye is primarily played in the lane, while CP Skye is normally a jungle hero. Your lane clear is quick, especially so if you get Travel Boots early and learn how to stutterstep with Skye. I recommend practicing with a friend in the lane in a private match, focusing on either clearing quickly of freezing while you practice stutterstepping on Skye. This can become a HUGE advantage in actually competitive play.

Tips and Tricks with Skye Top

Skye does have some hidden tricks up her sleeve. Here are some basic tips and tricks with Skye.
If you have recently used your Forward Barrage, using a Suri Strike will significantly lower the cooldown time on Forward Barrage.
Every time you upgrade your Suri Strike, you increase the duration your Target Lock perk stays on a target.
Death From Above has a .5 second slow built into the ability. This is incredibly helpful for escaping teamfights, or even ambushing enemies.
Both your Suri Strike and Death From Above require a locked target to fire. Be sure to have something targeted in a fight to allow you to use your abilities.
You can reactivate your Forward Barrage to stop it early. This ability last 3 seconds.
You can use your Death From Above to cut off escape routes and secure kills easily.
