What these Builds were made for Top

Have you ever tried to play a new Hero or a Hero you haven't played before and had no idea what to Build and ended up screwing your team over? If you don't trust the recommended Builds, here is another option! General Builds, Builds that will work for every Hero (Theoretically) with slight tweaking of some Items! As you can see, each Build has an Item choice for each slot. I'm going to show you how to properly pick your Items to make a general Build for that Hero you have no idea how to Build! Disclaimer though, these Builds are for players who DON'T know how to Build on a Hero, and if you know what Items to Build on specific Heros, you probably shouldn't bother with these Builds.

Steps For Creating The Build Top

Here are the steps for creating the Build!

Step One: Choose The Build depending on the playstyle you want to play.

Example: For Lorelai you could choose the Roam Build or the CP Poke Build.

Step Two: Choose an Item for each slot, but DON'T choose a unique item, such as Aftershock or Poisoned Shiv twice, due to the abilities not stacking.

Example: For Lorelai using CP Poke, you can choose Frostburn, Spellfire, Eve of Harvest, Dragon's Eye, Aegis, and Halcyon Chargers.

Then you're done.

Remember to choose the items depending on what type of Hero you're playing!

All these builds can be used for any Hero! (Except if you want to go weapon burst Phinn.)

General CP Build: Sustain Top

First Item

Aftershock Should be chosen for Heros that use abilities that do auto attacks, or abilities that boost the damage of auto attacks, ex: SAW, Koshka, Reza, Blackfeather, Alpha.

Clockwork Should be chosen for Heros that have abilities with mid to long cooldowns and abilities that do heavy damage, ex: Samuel, Baron, SAW, Baptiste, Taka.

Alternating Current Should be chosen for Heros that rely on basic attacks for crystal damage because of a heroic perk or ability, ex: Vox, Varya, Petal, Lyra, Adagio.

Eve of Harvest Should be chosen for Heros that already have good damage, but have energy problems and benefit from lifesteal, ex: Celeste, Baron, Reim, Skye, Skaarf.

Second Item

Dragon's Eye CP boost over time. Really a no brainer.

Third Item

Eve of Harvest Should be chosen if you are planning to carry with only 1 defense item, or if you want to play really tanky with 2 defense items, ex: Varya, Celeste, Skaarf or Reim, Ozo, Alpha.

Shatterglass Should be chosen if you don't want or need to use Eve of Harvest and you want to carry with only 1 defense, ex: Idris, Adagio, Ringo, Baron.

Broken Myth Should be chosen if you want to have 2 defenses but don't want your damage to fall off late game, ex: Alpha, Reim, Ozo, Blackfeather, Baptiste.

Fourth Item

Broken Myth Should be chosen if you are carrying with only one defense item, ex: basically every carry.

Aegis Should be chosen if you aren't carrying, ex: basically every jungler.

Fifth Item

Aegis Should be chosen if you don't have one yet.

Metal Jacket Should be chosen if you already have a Aegis and if the enemy team has more WP power then attack speed, or if you're ranged.

Atlas Pauldron Should be chosen if you already have a Aegis and if the enemy team has more attack speed then WP power.

Sixth Item

Journey Boots Should be chosen if there are no energy or cooldown problems.

Halcyon Chargers Should be chosen if there are energy or cooldown problems.
